If I were the restaurant owner I would not be easily convinced when non Thai speaker said "Aroy Tee Sud" on my food eventho it tastes so good . It’s far too exacgerrated to hear .You will see they will only smile on what had said. I rather say something else in thai.

Yo that looks delicious, but can you get it without a thousand chilies in it. Not everyone loves chilies like you. I like maybe one in a meal. Is this possible? I love the the flavor but I can't take a hundred chiles in a dish. A little is OK.

Hi Dennis!! I respect that of course, even I don’t like to eat 45 Chili’s in every single meal… But at this place, or kind of in general in the south of Thailand (if you want local food I mean), you have to be ready for high heat, that’s pretty much for sure
