I went to a Rob Zombie concert in the late 1990's. All of the other acts were sub par at best. But when Rob Zombie took the stage, the entire place was transformed. Fire projections, fog machines, laser lights, wild dreadlocks thrashing in the strobe light, half naked exotic dancers with snakes, and the entire venue was roaring! One of the best shows I ever saw.

@Chad ... I saw him with White Zombie at PG equestrian center back in the early 90's and had a blast. I mean it was a freaking horse farm. Awesome mosh pit...muddy ASF. I was about 20-21years old It was a great time. Everybody was having fun, weed was everywhere and the cops didn't fk with us. They let us be young disgruntled disenfranchised youths that were not happy with the Government and the labels society wanted us to wear. Most people don't know how shit used to be back then ! Gen X knew how to do shit right. We had a great time doing it ! Nobody got shot, people weren't getting arrested, groups of people weren't fighting (most of the time)....we just blew off steam and the cops let us do it because of that ! It feels like a lifetime ago.

I went to a concert in 2010 that had a bunch of rock bands, including Rob Zombie. I had low expectations for his part of the concert. I thought it was just going to be seeing him sing his songs, and thought it wasn't even going to sound as good. I was blown away at how good his show was. He was on top of a pyramid that rolled out onto stage, there was porn playing on the screens behind him, and a godzilla style monster battle was happening on stage while Rob Zombie was rockin out. That was the most bad ass shit I've ever seen.

Funny story about House of 1000 Corpses, as a Rob and White Zombie fan, I followed the news, and the film just wasn't being released. Even saw videos of him talking on stage about the release of the film at the time. Finally found a $1 theater showing it, called my buddy, and we drove an hour to see the film. Both of us loved it. I know Rob won't ever read this but it's a tribute to how much his fans love and respect what he does.

So ummm Joe "I never read the comments" Rogan, i hope you get the message and have Mr. Z back in. Lastly, i am guessing that your partners in crime here in podcast land, Diaz and maybe Ari, and Burr who does not have guests on except on the rare occasion when perhaps a hard rock musician might be someone that Burr would be stoked to have on.
