First off this isn’t critical thinking, it’s common sense. Almost a year ago I watched this guy talk to a student about JK Rowling and that she actually was incredibly sympathetic and not the person that media made her out to be….i hate that college professors are fired AND that they are critical thinkers or asking someone to think for themselves in the least. Thank his for Joe bringing him on and shining a spot light on how lost our educators are.

@@stephenholmgren405You reveal the negativity in your heart. The palpable hatred of Christianity in the West is so silly. So you dislike the first religion in the entire history of the world that abolished slavery and gave women the more rights than any other time in history? Romans called it the religion of "women, slaves, and children" because the old world had never seen a religion advocate for the weak and dispossessed. Our notion of giving rights and freedoms is born of Christian values - even the top atheist like Richard Dawkins say this is so. I hope you one day discover why the mere mention of God bothers you so much and find love instead of disgust

Good to see Warren, I taught the same subjects at university and was also negated, teaching creativity REQUIRES folks to embrace individual critical-thinking for the encouragement of originally alone, which becomes troublesome when conformity/single-think 'becomes' the deliberate (and sadly rewarded) norm....The institutions really HAVE become 'institutions' ....the type we thought we got rid of but now charge an exorbitant fee/inescapable-loan for.

Wow he made it! Good for him. We need more solid teachers! I'll never forget how my HIstory teacher instilled critical thinking in our classroom. "Look at the sources, all sources have biases, especially secondary or tertiary sources. Even these textbooks are written from the US perspective guys. Remember that."
