Yep. If there is one thing that would make a fucking requirement to graduate it would be a finances class to teach kids how to budget, how to pay taxes, pay back loans, etc. For as much bullshit as some of the systems can be (e.g. Student Loans), knowledge of that shit is essential for daily living.

@@selvieb7830 As a collectove for all black communities, no, there really isnt any classes like that being taught to black communites. This of course is excluding the few teachera that actually care and slil that in their ciriculum. But from experience, ive been to a few ghetto schools, and one I moved to a more "upper area", I saw the knowledge being taught vastly higher and more interesting. I learned more in 1 year then i did the previous 5. And this is specifically for high school financial classes. Most schools, especially black or lower class school dont have teachers that will teach you about car notes, stocks, loans, or any of the important stuff.

That Free Speaking Zone part of this conversation was really touching. About Kevin’s daughter with her hair. Just as another human being, I loved hearing about that moment he had with his daughter. It makes you remember that no matter someone’s financial situation or fame man that family stuff doesn’t change. Having a father in the household makes a huge difference.

Joe put on a master class of interviewing here. Kevin hart can talk like words are going out of style. Joe Rogan is an amazing conversationalist in the fact that he waited and listened whenever Kev was on a tangent & responded showing he was listening, THEN redirected to powerful questions that’ll bring about meaningful conversations. I had this playing in the background while cooking dinner for my family & realized I had been listening for an hour 9 mins without it even feeling like it. Joe demonstrates here why he’s worth more than the 100M

Kevin talking about his spine injury recovery, reminds me of my dad who went through a similiar situation. My dad's T10 was obliterated by a cancer and later fractured his L2 and L3. First he had to do all the spine recovery because there was a serious risk of him losing his leg movements. so after a 2 years recovery, that's when we found out about the cancer. And it was more 18 months of batte. My dad is my goddamn hero. Took it like a fucking champion. There were a shitload of bad days, tears, sadness and all kinds of shit. But there's was also our family, our love and our strenght to move forth. Never give up, especially on the ones you love. Take care everyone and stay safe.

When Kevin started talking about his parenting style I am in awe. A part of me wishes I was his kid. My parents never had anything like a free speaking time. They were unapproachable for any advice or talking to about problems. Anytime I said something I was feeling or nervous for or whatever they would tell others and make it a big deal, in the worst way possible, without solving anything or making it better.

I was hesitant to watch this because I’ve always thought Kevin could be rather sporadic and obnoxious in character. Having said that, this was the most powerful, eye-opening, self reflective podcast I’ve ever watched. It made me sit back and think of where I’m at in my life and what kind of man I’ve become over the years. Thank you for this, Joe and Kevin.

I think the only thing with Kevin is that I don't disagree with what he says especially around availability and sharing of knowledge but he can spend minutes talking about something that he can convey much quicker, almost like he's trying too hard to show wisdom. Other than that he was spot on with everything.

This has nothing to do with what you just said, but you're top comment with good amount of likes....everyone go look how Kevin Hart is getting roasted for being racist against white people(check his interviews too. Where he says hes only supporting black actor's) preaches equality and post 50 pictures of only black father lol....just trying to expose how black excellence, is the same as KKK..still skeptical...notice how nobody on HB productions is white...nobody on his XM show is white..nobody on stage with him is white...any charity gift he does, is never for a white person.....he may not be tall, but he isnt short on racism lol
