Why would anyone be interested in CIA talking points? “Wasn’t enough intel” Everything’s a nail when you’re a hammer. I watched Putin give a press conference before the first attack that gave the whole world a 48 hr head start. Putin even said what targets would be first lol. But ya more intel woulda helped. Mike never says Putin and me used to do the same job we have a lot in common.

When western leaders say Russia's war in Ukraine breaks international law and is horrible. They are correct. The problem is, when they call Russia or China thugs or Criminals, Russia and China do not care. Why? Because if the Nuremberg laws and international laws had been applied and enforced since WWII. Almost every world leader, including western leaders, would have been hanged for crimes against humanity. But since America has a monopoly on military strength, and economic influence, they can just tell international organizations to side with them, to approve of their wars. So even if Russia is a street thug, as we imply. The west is the Mafia. And abuses their power globally and against their own people. Don't get me wrong, it is still better to live in the USA than elsewhere. It's still richer, and more free than Ukraine or Russia, for example. But America has spent decades playing world police, while breaking its own rules. And now that it is weak, the other thugs are out for blood.

What do you think an ex-CIA agent actually does? Many like to present themselves as self-described 'experts' but they're scared to death about revealing something that's not already public knowledge. They don't want their life ruined so they tread very carefully. Anything that's not public knowledge leaves them vulnerable to prosecution. And the agency itself can continue with blunder after blunder unchecked, with an unlimited and top secret budget that even the president isn't privy to. They obviously fumbled the ball here, and keep getting rewarded for being asleep at the wheel for 911 and literally not knowing about the Berlin Wall falling until we did. “The very word "secrecy" is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths and to secret proceedings...And there is very grave danger that an announced need for increased security will be seized upon by those anxious to expand its meaning to the very limits of official censorship and concealment.” --John Kennedy

I like Joe and the fact he brings variety opinions. However, often Joe just does not do his DD and is incapable of challenging a guest. Of course, he should not censor or cut guests off - but he should challenge them. Baker is incredibly weak. A guy that talks a lot but says NOTHING. On his comments about Putin’s “sphere of influence. First, I trust NO GOVERNMENT. But if you know just a rudimentary knowledge of the facts from 1989 onwards, you KNOW the west has NOT honored it’s commitments. The Russians did not push boundaries? Of course they did. Unlike Baker I am not naive. But if Baker understands the AOW you know that calling out every transgression is NOT productive. Baker is a western hegemonic tool of the DC machine. He is sold on this western exceptionalism. He cannot extricate himself from it. Is Putin a monster? I do not know for certain and neither does Baker. I have listened to dozens of speeches and interviews of Putin. He dies not need flash cards, notes of a teleprompter. Whatever he may be, he is not a Bush or Biden. And the claim Putin wants to being back the old USSR IS FALSE. It is NOT want he said. Anyone who knows a bit of history- knows what ensured after the fall, and financial enslavement by the western elite, was destitution in Russia. This is undeniable. That WAS a tragedy. But Putin also said, anyone who does not lament over the collapse us without a heart. Anyone who wants the USSR back us without a brain (paraphrasing him). It is perfectly understandable after the persistent violation of DCs word and encroachment of NATO on Russia’s doorstep for Putin to pushback. I would do the same thing if it were my country. And it is perfectly understandable that after turning down multiple requests to join Russia by the breakaways, that Putin after seeing 14,000 dead at the hand of neo-nazis, would finally accept the suppressed Russian speaking people’s there and would accept them to re-unite with Russia. Baker is extremely weak in thus interview. Clearly a parrot of the security-media complex. Putin may have done some horrific acts. In Ukraine what was seen as weakness was actually restraint. I would say with years of western drone attacks by the west - the USA has done some horrific things. Putin is acting in the best interest if his country and perhaps himself. Trump and Biden gave done the same thing. The west and B Johnson killed any chance for peace. Zelenskyy did all he could, including increase shelling 500% in tge fall of 2021 into 2022, tried to eliminate the culture of his own Russian citizens, and then the days before the “invasion”, said he would pursue NATO admission and nukes. Notice Baker says nothing about that? Baker is a weak a$$. We need to make sure Russia is stable. Because behind Putin are those a LOT WORSE who would of already nuked Kyiv. Baker is weak. Joe needs to up his game with guests.

Or better yet, get a frigging Russian, to hear the truth from the horse's mouth! This is ridiculous! You guys keep talking ABOUT us Russians, instead of actually talking WITH us! Watch Patrick Lancaster's videos from Donbass. Research what the Alley of Angels in Donetsk is. I bet you've never even heard of the people who were BURNED ALIVE in Odessa on May 2, 2014. They were peaceful protesters against the Nazi regime in Ukraine. Do you have even a REMOTE idea how many people have been murdered, tortured, kidnapped to be never found in Ukrane in the past eight years? Did you even know that the people in Eastern Ukraine have been METHODICALLY shelled, day after day, for the past eight years? All those people were "guilty" of was defending their right to speak Russian, maintain and nourish their culture and history, and their resentment of the Nazi movement that was gaining momentum in Ukraine by the hour. What do you know about the Crimea, other than we 'occupied' and 'annexed' it in 2014? I bet not much. Well, of course, it takes a thirst of knowledge, time, and minimal research skills to dig out the truth. It is much easier to blindly consume 'the truth' your 'freedom-loving' government keeps feeding you!
@mikeradu20102 жыл бұрын
@HelenaVanCity - Totally agree with you. I’ve been listening to Gonzalo Lira, who is in hiding in Ukraine now (since those Azov guys are trying to find him).
