I discovered that if you sell a weapon, you CAN'T use it as a transmog skin. If you want the gladius as your weapon look,it must be in your inventory even if its too weak to use for example

Great video man! I'm loving the game so far too and yeah noticed within 10 mins of getting Morley how much of a powerhouse he is. Apparently when you unlock Samurai for him, it's meant to be the single most powerful class in the game in terms of damage output, going from all I've read and watched so far etc.

In the main menu press up or down and then swap the characters around. ***you can only do this in areas where you can double jump. (Not in towns etc)

Can I ask a question? I just wanted to clarify something: You said something about when you changed jobs - the passives from the other jobs no longer apply? Is that right? You only get the passives from the job you’ve currently selected?

I've played the game for only about 5-6 hours so take it with a grain of salt. But yes, passives are class exclusive. But, from what I noticed, you can unlock some abilities that do transfer between classes. Hope it helps :)

Yes and NG+ allows you to make a custom class with any elemental plot you've maxed out. So keep an eye on what classes for a character look like they will go well together for a second playthrough.

Can anyone help me? Im in early game, just recruited Careena. Why is the AI so dumb? and how can I improve it? when I face hard mobs(hard difficulty, mobs that are special and a bit stronger than others that are usually in a circle on their own) my Careena is freaking useless. I put the ai on dodging everything, instead shes dying every 10 secs. I mean i can still beat the mobs but its annoying. Any tips?

Get a tank, healer or both. If the mobs are less focused on attacking her she'll be able to do more. Sadly some of the character's classes have worse playstyles for AI than others do. Not sure which Careena class you were using but I've yet to find a class I love her using (but I did give up on her early). People are also saying she's the weakest of the characters. I was using Val as an Aggro tank so Careena wasn't dying all the time for me on hard but she would die until I got the better seeds to tank and heal better. There's a passive taunt seed in the starter town after you get access to ocean travel. There is also a seed in the "free town" that lets a character take 30% of damage dealt to other characters. So a 30% dmg reduction for her if you mess up on the aggro and she gets hit. Her earth class is a monk tank with big defensive buffs and is all about being buffed by being buffed and keeping the buffs longer. Her fire class is a CS gauge class that builds that meter really fast. In new game plus you can customize your own class and if I use her then on the difficulty that unlocks in NG+ I'll probably be using those two together cause she gets a defense buff for using a CS attack that doesn't have a duration. It just lasts till the end of a fight. Earth Raises DEF by 20% when affected by a stat increase Extends the duration of stat increases from own moves by 50% Rasies DEF after using a class strike. Lasts until combat ends Rasies DEF according to the number of stat increases she has in effect Recovers 10% of HP every 10 sec when affected by a stat increase Fire Fill the CS gauge by 4% after defeating an enemy Raise ATK after using a class strike. Lasts until combat ends Fill the CS gauge by 2% every 5 sec in battle fill the CS gauge by 20% after using a class strike Sounds fun to me.

Personally I'm just about to reach Rhata Harbor for the first time and one big gripe about the game I have is how insanely weak and I mean absolutely worthlessly weak any form of attack magic is so far. For example when you get Fireball I was like okay fair enough, Val's stats are obviously more like a melee swordfighter right now. Then I got my first class change where they make you change Chareena in a Dancer and I noticed that her intellect and magic attack go up quite a bit, especially considering the options at that time. Then I also put the intellect and move damage seed on her and I was ready to see some damage. Holy shit was I disappointed. It's not even "meh" damage, it's straight up you're absolutely griefing yourself if you use it at all. That was with cyclone of course. Then a bit later I got Thunderbolt with a whooping 310 power but also a high mp cost to it. So I switched seeds around again making like before, used Thunderbolt aaaaand yet again I was severely dissapointed. I don't expect hitting for 100's of damage at that point in the game, but I'm STRUGGLING to reach the DPS of Val as Rune Knight with him just auto attacking for fucks sake. That SHOULD NOT be the case if I'm using resources and making myself vulnerable by casting. Then I unlocked Nightblade and I noticed Luck going all the way to 88 for Morley. I also remembered the tutorial saying projectiles like Shuriken and Arrow Rain scale with both Attack and Luck. Obviously I put on the strength and move damage seed and test out Arrow Rain. I hit for 7 damage each arrow. S E V E N damage. I just love how the game spits you in the face even more by giving you this "consecutive casting" for wind spells seed. Like fuck this I'm not casting this shit let alone consecutively. I pretty much just spam auto attacks without any sense of brain usage in sight and only if I fight purple enemies, bosses or trials I can make use of supportive spells and class strikes, but no attack magic obviously. So yeah who knows how it'll be later on and perhaps with a proper mage class change, but I feel like right now the combat is so insanely "dumbed down" and I can't even properly use the fancy magic I unlock then what's the damn point? Things should be at the very least "usable" early on to give the game more flavor. I feel like they could've easily doubled the damage of Fireball and Cyclone and I'd be struggling to be convinced to use them, that's how bad they are. Magic should not be like this. Not early, not in the middle, not late, not ever. That's just my only really big gripe right now. There's other things too but they're vastly outshadowed by this.

You want Palameena, you want the aoe spells, you want to be using the enemies weakness, and you want the appropriate consecutive casting seeds eventually. She's not Morley levels of damage but the way Palameena's mana works lets you spam like crazy and end the fight with a full mana bar. If not her there are apparently seeds that let you split mana costs across the entire team and seeds that let you use hp to cast when out of mana,

Did they fix the janky jumping? In the Demo "jumping" felt sooo janky it was off-putting, I know I'm lame but jumping needs to feel fluid to me and it felt garbage in the demo

On average, approximately how much of the elemental plot can you max out with each character in one playthrough? (Or maybe like how many classes can you max with each character?) The map lists number of Elementite in each area, so even a total count of all Elementite would give me a good estimate. Also, is there enough Grizzly Syrup in the game to buy all the items you can only get with syrup, such as the permanent stat boost items from the demo?

I've been told they only give you 10 of each stat boosting item hard capped new game plus won't give you more. I've only been buying those with syrup and I've not had to not buy them since the first bear shop. There is also a way to respec the plot and after beating the game once you can make custom classes with any line you complete. So complete one get some random abilities from the others and if you play new game plus max out another one to add to your custom class.

I saw how overpowered Morley was but I didn't want to use him his dash attack was boring as hell. I had already invested 3 of the ONLY 10 crit and strength items the bears give you and was sad cause I wanted to use Palameena's reaper class and she really needs a physical and crit buff from those items apparently. I was already 5 or 6 hours in and didn't want to restart. I looked up how new game plus works and apparently they do not give you another 10 next game. I was just out of luck. I begrudgingly used the next batch of luck boosts on her and felt bad about it. I just found out today that there are seeds in the damn game that let you take the stats of one character and put them on another. So I fucked my save both ways.

Thanks for the Video. Well I stopped playing the game after about 10 Hours. Because it was so frustrating that I lost everything after losing against a stronger Enemy in the field. I was farming for quite some time and then died in a battle and my last save point from a saving Tree was quite some time ago when I entered the area. So this was after the second time so frustrating that I won't play it anymore. It is so stupid when you cant save anytime you want, because this way I dont want to explore anymore because the risk of losing everything again and the saving Trees are to rarely around... 😞
