+Vladislav B That's fine, each to their own of course. For me, Mechina have truly found their own voice, their own signature sound by now, that was already becoming apparent since Empyrean. What I love about this track and about Acheron, is that it's much less crowded and crammed, it's so much more spacious(no pun intended). There's so much more time for build-ups, softer interludes in the tracks themselves and a perfect duality of beauty and brutality that could be found on Empyrean, went to 11 on Acheron and is perfected on this track. If the rest of Progenitor is of this quality, then this could as well be in the top 3 of my favourite musical outputs of all time from any genre.

I don't know why, but Mechina has that Globus/IExist feel to them. and that's really amazing because not a lot of bands put a certain type of melody into their instrumentals or lyrics. I really love it tbh.

Years ago during my first listen to Conqueror, I initially thought of Mechina as little more than a symphonic Fear Factory - a band I'm not super into in the first place. Since then, Mechina has become my favorite band. Nobody else makes this blend of music, or does it this well. Listening to their progression over the past few years into a beast of their own has been nothing but amazing. Each new release solidifies that sentiment. Guys, thank you for doing what you're doing.

I'll admit, I was nervous when Acheron didn't have any clean vocals from Dave. Fantastic album, but the eerily semi-human auto-tune adds a spirit to the music that I'm struggling to define accurately within the context of awe and emotion. I'm very happy to hear they're back this time around. I have a feeling this is going to be your most titanic album to date. I look forward to the new year with bated breath. This is gonna be something special.

Listening this version for the first time since ages and... I STILL think the album version lost a lot without the drums in the intro and interludes, not to mention it seems mixed better (but that may be YT's sound compression playing tricks on me). What a shame. This is the best Mechina song ever. I can't believe anything can top this.

Anagenesis means "the progressive evolution of a species" Story Overview The people aboard the ship who haven't succumbed to cryoshock spend decades in orbit as the terraforming process takes place on Acheron. New generations are born aboard the ship. A giant space station is built to accommodate them all. Called the Cepheus Ring, it encircles the entire planet of Acheron. These people watch the slow terraforming process, waiting for the day when they can join Anicetus and walk on the surface of Acheron. 10 humans who were unable to wake from cryosleep have been converted to Titanborn but they still won't wake.
