Uncle Joey is a legend
@Pr0x1moАй бұрын
I'm from Union City NJ, same hood Joey was raised in, and i've hung out in every single street and ave in NJ and NY that he has been on, but 20 year difference. I lived one block away from where his mom ran the bookies scheme at the bar. I can tell you this, everything that joey has done and experienced is just another tuseday where we're from. The difference is that Joey knows how to tell the story in a funny way. Everyone has gone through what joey has done except that hood dudes don't know how to tell a story so they'll just say "nigga slept through a fire making french fries." I lived in NJ half my life then Miami the other half. I've experienced the same crazy shit Joey has gone through or similar crazy experiences. When i went to miami from NJ and just nonchalantly told my stories people were laughing their asses off while i was there wondering what was so funny. I'm talking living in the projects, robbing hookers, robbing habib stores when i was in 5 th grade, all types of shit. In miami it went from street shit to club hopping shit and swindling rich people in VIP sections. Everything joey says, to me, sounds normal, except he expresses it in a colorful way that makes me laugh.

Unlike Bert, Joey doesn't have to make stuff up. 😂 Dude has lived a CRAZY life.

If you ever want to hear about Joeys entire life … watch the Honey Dew podcast with Joey on there … there’s probably 6-8 podcasts talking about his life at age 3 until now … an absolutely fantastic series and the craziest stories ever told !!

It takes a lot to shut Alex Jones up - but Joey did it.

There was a book editor that was making a book about the cuban mafia that was located in New York/New Jersey.... and this guy was researching and contacting people from the area that was there in the 70's.... and he heard Joey Diaz mention a name that the dude came across in his research so he reached out to Joey and they talked. Turned out, Joey was a young kid growing up right in the middle of the shit and knew some of the lower to mid-level players in the cuban mafia in Jersey/New York. So there is a full Joe Rogan podcast with this book guy, Joey, and Joe....talking about Joey's past and the book guy is giving historical references and names and connections. Its 100% Joey's childhood and it is a great listen.

@@NoloTee , it's #1095 of the JRE. I can't find the full video on KZbin anymore (probably since migration to Spotify). But the episode is Joe Rogan, TJ English, and Joey Diaz, discussing the rise of cuban crime in NYC during the 1960s/1970s. It's a history lesson about how the Cubans helped with the anti Castro movement and create their own little empire in the usa

Do some Tom Segura. And if you’ve done some, do more. He’s a master.

i gotta add more to that, doug stanhope. pick a random bit by him. he can surprise you, not from the stories (he got some mindblowing stories too but not as much as uncle joey) but also from his view of the world. i believe some comedians like bill burr call him "carlinesque" cause he is overthinking his jokes in a political way just like george carlin did.

They be hating on tom videos but ill try again
@sickturret3587Ай бұрын
@@NoloTee there is a niche group hating on tom and bert (they started on andrew schultz too) just because tom trolled them and bragged he was born rich and they were poor on some other social media. they took the bait and are going after any comedian whose parents were not poor nowadays. most people don't care as long as they make you laugh. but some 500k populated crazy bait takers are constantly hating on them. plus, some of them are making videos on those comics about how they suck, and they watch the 1 hour long videos with ads on people they hate on. it is funny as hell to be honest.

@@NoloTee If you haven't already done it, do the Tom Segura video about "48 hours" tv show.

All of Joey Diaz's stories are true. Most of his drug stories and crime stories. Were real experiences he had before he became a comedian. He's said that he leaves out certain details and uses fake names. Out of respect for his friends and family members that he mentions in the stories he shares. Anyways he actually has a book that he wrote.
@LeroyGreen420Ай бұрын
He got same stories as me. They can't be made up.
@misterc5783Күн бұрын
There’s absolutely no way for you to know that. But you can choose to believe it. That’s ok. It’s only for laughs. Veracity doesn’t really matter.
@LeroyGreen4202 сағат бұрын
@@misterc5783 stop being a troll. You can look his record up. Nobody cares what you believe. I mean hell you too dumb to realize KZbin added numbers to your name a long time ago.
