I’m 68 years old , an was sitting out on my front porch , when this beautiful song popped into my head from way back when I was in Bible school , when I was in 2-3 rd grade , my it lifted me up like nothing I have heard in a long time ! I like this version , as it’s up beat , was just like we sang it , and the music , was played on a beat up , upright piano , and we just belted it out ! Praise GOD , with as much vigor , as only little kids can do , out of key , an everbody ….. loud as you can ! My grandmother used to pull me up on her lap when I was just a little child. We’d rock in her creaking old rocking chair and we’d sing this song and she’d play her harmonica. mohammed lastman try reading the New Testament with an open mind and heart. Pick a translation that is easy for you to understand. I personally use the N.I.V. translation when I read for understanding. I can’t TELL you what it says. That’s where many people go wrong. You’d only get my interpretation that way. To get the real meaning you have to read for yourself and contemplate what you are reading in your heart and soul. That’s where a relationship with Jesus is formed. You may decide not to worship Jesus in the long-run. That’s between you and Him. But, I promise if you read like I have described that you will at least grow to understand Jesus and appreciate Him on a different level. My approach to Christianity is very different from most mainstream Western Christians. My relationship and faith in Jesus is solid and deep. It’s a heart and soul connection that can’t be explained with words. If you read and if you honestly pursue Jesus and seek to understand Him more deeply the relationship will come and you will understand, even if that doesn’t lead to worship.
