The way Usyk speaks about his father who passed away.. always a tear in his eye.. that shows who he is as a man. I lost mine on 25 March this year and the pain is more than I can bear at times. So I support Usyk all the way. Good, humble guy

What absolute nonsense.....you can't tell from a carefully crafted public image what this guy is like ...or any other celebrities! It's a pantomime with Fury as the baddie ...Booooo who parks his caravan where do you don't want it . .& Usyk is the goodie .. Hooray....who kills more Russians during his lunch break than Stalin did ...! Get real Usyk like Fury is earning more money for one fight than us ordinary folk earn in 10 life times! In a despotic country that has NO human rights ...they BOTH have NO moral compass so stop with all the crap talk...!

Been following Uysk since his days in the cruiserweight division and have always thought there is something very special about this guy. When he went up to heavyweight I remember being ridiculed in forums and comment sections when I stated that I'm 100% sure that he will be the next unified heavyweight champion. Now, most people finally agree with me because they see for themselves just how good he really is.. He didn't look too good in his first few fights but if there's one thing about Uysk is he 'always' finds a way to win. Now he's adjusted more to this weight division he's become much, much better. He will win and win convincingly and before his career ends will be regarded as one of the best heavyweights ever with no losses in his professional career. I don't see any heavyweight out there that comes anywhere near this guy's level. He will be champion for as long as he wants to. Even now people are understimating Uysk and actually think Fury is going to win. Unfortunately, they are in for a bit of a surprise when they see how easily Uysk actually wins this fight. He will be in control from start to finish and win a unanimous points decision. How sure am I - well I've put £400 on Uysk to win. Easy money.

£400 at what odds? Are you not worried about the fact that boxing is maybe a 'shady' sport? The Fury's have always kissed 'His excellency's' ass. Maybe 'His excellency' has the final say on who wins, and it's already been decided? Who pulls in the most money as the champion for future fights? Fury or Usyk? Probably Fury, isn't it?

I know it seems a bit simplistic, but i just feel that Usyk will just outwork Fury. I think his punch output will be much busier and he'll just rack the rounds up before taking a unanimous points decision. Dont think that a stoppage is likely on either side, due to the durability of both fighters, so the high intensity work rate and punch count added to the defensive skills of Usyk wins it for me. Just hope that there is no major controversy in this monumentally significant contest, boxing would suffer badly if there is.

Joey thinks Usyk should fight more heavyweight to prove himself. An Usyk that will be 38 soon, yet thinks Fury is this great dude because of an almost 10year old victory over Vlad and victory over Deontay that beat who….? Come on, you’re a super fan boy
@tunestunes2036
@tunestunes2036 19 күн бұрын
Agreed Joey seems to be blinded by his hero worship for Fury, also Fury is not the best of his era,he hasn't faced everyone in his era, he needs to beat Usyk twice, then beat Joshua then he's actually in the conversation. Usyk will show us a masterclass in beating Fury twice.........the only way I see Fury winning is if gets a lucky KO of Usyk, or if the judges are biased/corrupt enough to give him the win on the scorecards, which sadly is not outside the realm of plausibility. Both are great fighters, I just feel that the bias for Fury on this channel is pure fanboyism, a more balanced approach from Joey would garner more respect from boxing fans imo

Fury didn't belittle Seferi or Wallin, or Chisora or Whyte. He ends most of these interviews saying credit when he knocks Usyk out in 3 rounds after talking him up. When Fury was cut against Wallin, he increased his punch output to avoid the stoppage. He threw 80 punches in the 10th round.

So far as I am aware, Usyk v Fury has been mooted since Usyk first beat Joshua in 2021 and has been under negotiation since Usyk beat Joshua for the second time in 2022. At last, on 18 May 2024, the fight will actually take place. Who will win? It is very obvious who should win. . Fury’s advantages over Usyk are many. He is 5” - 6” taller, 50+lbs heavier and has a 7” longer reach. He is more powerful, is an excellent boxer, and punches harder, with a professional career stoppage record of 69%. In addition, he can fight both at distance and up close, judges distance very well, is fast on his feet and has very good defensive skills. Furthermore, he has been a true heavyweight all his career. Physically Usyk is the same size, weight, and reach, as was Muhammad Ali. He is significantly faster on his feet, and with his hands, than Fury, never stops moving both feet and head, and punches in bunches whilst Fury tends to punch in ones and twos. Usyk also fights at full pace for the full 12 rounds, even getting faster and better as the fight progresses (though this is probably because his opponent begins to flag). He has a similar stoppage ratio to Fury at 67% - though these stoppages were mainly against cruiserweight opponents, as he has only fought 5 times at heavyweight. On the basis of physicality, Fury is clear favourite and, now that fight time itself is so near, this advantage has been shown to be even more apparent because, for the first time for some years, he looks lean, exceptionally fit, and even ripped! In personality, the two boxers are poles apart. Fury is rude, arrogant, often foulmouthed, self-admiring, and loves the limelight; Usyk, assisted by English being very much a secondary language for him, is quiet, reticent although with an obvious sense of humour, and focused unwavouringly on becoming undisputed champion. Whereas Fury self promotes himself as being undisputed champion already, with such vigour that whether he is this, in fact, seems less important to him than being seen as such by others. Furthermore, he is way more focused, than Usyk, on being the one to make the most money and on gaining small advantages such as being the one to enter the ring last before the fight begins. In mental strength, Usyk has the edge. He is fighting for his dead Dad and for his country at war. Look at how his Mother, having just died, transformed the will of Buster Douglas against Mike Tyson. Fury tries to gain mental ascendency before the fight, against all his opponents. He has palpably failed to do so against Usyk. The betting odds favour Fury, but only just. Overwhelmingly the fight is predicted to last the distance and be close. This is largely based on the fact that Usyk, despite his physical shortcomings, twice beat, on points, Fury’s longstanding and great rival, Anthony Joshua. From the start, 2022, when Usyk beat Joshua for the second time, I have consistently predicted a close Usyk win on points, or a draw. The only way that the fight will end inside the distance is if one of the fighters sustains an injury, such as a broken hand, a twisted ankle, or a cut. To me, the odds have shortened towards a draw, now that Fury’s enhanced physical condition is so apparent. But overall, my money is still on Usyk. There is one final qualification (two parts to it), however - the choice of referee will be critical as, if he is lenient in allowing excessive clinching, leaning on, and foul blows such as with the elbow or to the back of the head, this is likely to favour Fury massively; and if the ring floor is soft, as was going to be the case at one time for the Fury/Klitchko fight, Usyk’s superior footwork will be inhibited.

Brilliant comment on a fight that went under the Radar to uninformed fans, I loved Tua but Ike Beabuchi threw 975 punches in 12 rounds he was insane (literally thought he was a president and was involved in some horrific criminal behaviour) I think he could have gone on to be an amazing champ fights with Holyfield and Lewis but I think he sufffered serious ireerable damage in the Tua fight.

@@SEIKOAE86 IKE's biggest obstacles are his inner demons to be sure. He had an the gifts to become champion, if only he could have kept things together outside of the ring. 975 for Ike, but Tua wasn't far behind with something b like 770 punches thrown. That fight was amazing and i think both fighters involved have fallen into the "underrated" category as time went on...

@@fatrobdoubleabsolutley mate Ike was unreal his workrate, shot selction, chin and will to gig deep. Yeah think Ike landed over 330 punches and Tua 275 but they were absolute bombs for 2 Heavyweights to throw over 1700 punches combined is Mexican Featherwweight numbers. I think Ike went on to Stop Byrd or Rahman in devastating style after too. Holyfield would have been an amazing match up i think Lennox Lewis jab may have been able to netralize alot of his offence and win. p. s So trgreshing to speak witj someone civily and have a great boxing conversation 👍

@@SEIKOAE86 i agree; fights between Ike and any to HW during that time period would ask have been great and i think Lennox had the best chance of beating him... I also b agree that it's refreshing but uncommon to have civil discussions about boxing or pretty much anything else these days. Thanks for that

For the first time I’m afraid T. Fury doesn’t sound too sure of himself, I can say for a fact that Tyson Sounds like a man he who is not sure of winning. May it’s just me, please watch his demeanor and even the as both of them were answering questions. I think Usyk had a big chance of winning.

It’s really irritating to listen to native English speakers pronouncing Usyk’s name as ‘You-sick’ instead of Oo-sik. What’s so hard about understanding that the pronunciation rules of your native tongue don’t apply to other languages? I mean it’s such common knowledge by now how to pronounce Usyk’s name that it really is just lazy ignorance from any English speakers who still keep pronouncing it as ‘You-sick’.

When did Fury “put him in his place”? I seem to remember Brian asking him some proper questions that the fans wanted answered which resulted in Fury having a childish hissy fit and throwing around contradictory insults. Please enlighten me.

I hope whoever wins sticks around to fight top contenders. I’d be intrigued to see fury fight: Joshua, Hrgovic, Zhang, Ruiz I want to see Usyk fight: Bakole, Joyce, Sanchez, Parker There’s a style out there that won’t suit either man. I could see bakole stopping Usyk. I could see Zhang and Joshua both causing Tyson fury problems. Styles make fights, hopefully neither man retires
