I think we’ll see a dirty Tyson Fury this time (as if he wasn’t last time) he will be rushing at Usyk and fouling to break Usyks concentration so he can land a sneaky uppercut. He’ll try and get Usyk ‘in trouble’ and he will be expecting the ref to jump in and give him the stoppage- exactly the opposite of Fury being allowed 20 seconds to recover in the 9th round. Anyone who's played a physical sport knows full well that you can't train properly and not only are you restricted in what things you can do during training but you're also thinking about protecting yourself more and less dialed into training. Ironically I've found I was more likely to pick up another injury while not fully committed and trying to protect an injury. 😂 It's seems the only way is all or nothing. Anything in between and it's just completely foreign and not being yourself or doing what made you good and sharp at whatever that was, so you're just more likely to get smashed.

It's fascinating that no experienced or 'mainstream' commentator or even one of we actual fighters have not commented that Usyk is false when he claims that he doesn't want to hurt anyone or wants fighters to go home unhurt to their families, etc. Usyk, ABSOLUTELY was trying to HURT (whatever word one wants to use), Fury in the first fight. In fact, including actually losing the fight, this is partly why Fury is so POd issuing short media statements as to what he will do in rematch. I always find it fascinating as to why there is intellectual dishonesty especially in the art of pugilism or MMA or hand hand combat arts bc true warriors, especially highly paid boxing champs like Usyk Fury, KNOW EXACTLY why how or why not when engaging opponents.

@zalamael49 минут бұрын
Whether people worship Fury or hate him, doesn't change the fact his footwork isn't as good as it used to be, and he tires after time and damage, making him slower and easier to hit over time. Also, he crosses his feet too much and ends up going down too easily (although he recovers really fast). I see this as Usyk via unanimous, I think he will do more work than last time, and get 2-3 knockdowns. He will need to if he wants to take it out of the hands of potentially bent judges. I don't think he will knock Fury out, and I can't see the ref stopping it (as Fury will recover quickly enough during the count), and I can't see Fury putting Uysk down, so this is highly likely to go the distance. And Uysk is highly likely to win it on points. It is just a question of whether it is a split, majority or unanimous. I'm betting on unanimous, but I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes a majority or a split due to a bent judge. For Usyk, he doesn't just need to win, he needs to make it an overwhelming victory to keep the judges honest and shut up Fury's BS afterwards.

I’m taking usyk by another competitive, but clear decision win. I’m a fan of both guys, and i want fury to win because he’s the one that made me a fan of boxing. It’s just hard for me to see fury winning enough rounds to get a decision, and I think usyk’s chin can hold up against fury’s best shots, even if he’s at a heavier weight. I could also see usyk getting the stoppage win, but fury’s recovery skills make it hard for me to believe it won’t go the distance. Usyk by decision- either 7-5 or 8-4 with another 10-8 round along the way

Fury must stop Usyk early because he can not outbox him after the sixth round. And he will risk to be stopped himself in the late rounds. Not an easy task since Usyk has a strong, underrated chin.

I agree with your assessment of Fury’s best chance being on points, but not for the same reason(s). I think he’ll come in very light (250’s) and try to stay close enough to Usyk to gain favourable judging results his way by being mobile and using a flicked open-gloves jab all night.
@justincordery95775 сағат бұрын

Nice one Joey, I don’t like Fury but he is a great boxer, anyone who writes him off categorically is very naive. I thought Usyk drew the best out of him in the last fight, once he got over the shock of the first round. He got too cocky like others before him after getting some success in 4, 5 and 6 but, that’s when Usyk goes up a gear. After that, he was surviving, hoping to Nick points on the back foot. That’s why he almost lost agains Ngannou. As Brian says, this time he needs to leave everything in that ring, every round.

If it goes to points Fury wins because Turki wants the trilogy. The replacement of the ref at the last minute is shady.
@TriWaZeСағат бұрын
Furys chin aint holding up forever and he took a massive beating in that last one and was saved by the ref. He doesnt even look good physically coming into this one. Anyones got a punchers chance but outside a fluke KO his only path imo is a blatant robbery as he aint out pacing Usyk for 12 rds. It was a clear 8-4 in their last fight not even counting the knock down. I have Usyk by KO 7-12 and if he doesnt find it, hes most likely getting robbed
@zalamael33 минут бұрын
Fury is hard to keep down though. All Uysk has to do is put him down enough times to make it impossible for the judges to score it in Fury's favour. 3 knockdowns in 3 separate rounds should do it I reckon. Hard to say though after the last fight where one judge somehow managed to score it as Fury winning, that was ridiculous. Saying that though, as far as I know, Usyk isn't signed up contractually for a 3rd fight, so if they want a trilogy, they can't afford to screw him over with a robbery. This is his legacy we are talking about, if he loses his unbeaten record due to bent judges, no one would blame him for saying no to a 3rd fight, and that would cost them a LOT of money. There will be demand for it, people still paid to watch Fury vs Wilder 3, even though there was no real point in it.

- First of all, I don’t put any stock into the pre-fight build-up, because we know all that shit goes out the window when the fighters start getting hit. - I personally don’t think Fury can get better from the first fight, but I do think he can go with a possibly more effective strategy, which would be a more aggressive approach. But I can’t see how that wouldn’t just play into Usyk’s hands because he’s putting himself in a more vulnerable position to be hurt and he’ll gas out a lot quicker. Usyk also looks a lot stronger to me than he did last time. - I’m gonna say Usyk wins another decision, but I’m kinda feeling a stoppage.

I have a question regarding sparring - how important is it really. Fury always said he doensn't need to train all the time, he's been boxing his whole life, so there's no point. What training DOES do, though, is raise your fitness level, which I think is very important. And you also cannot really replicate an opponent 100%, can you? So how important is sparring really?
@martinsoar92346 сағат бұрын
You can't replicate them 100% with sparring but you can get a lot closer to the real thing with sparring than with pad work or hitting a bad in my opinion and in most boxers. We will never forget the lies he told he ammount of time he made us wait and the fool he made himself look im sorry but if he wanted my backing he should of been that way the first time round usyk has stolen me he stole me from aj and then killed my dreams in there rematch and now ive fallen in love with usyks style and his personality too bad for fury

I'm a big tyson fan so this might be biased, but i think Tyson will know what to expect from usyk, and will make the adjustments, i feel like Tyson was winning in the first half of the fight and got comfortable, and he let his guard down and got caught in round nine, i don't think that will happen again Tyson will be on his guard the whole time, will jab him away, i think Tyson by points i don't think he can knock him out usyk is too good and slippery to get caught.
