If the actual elements don't work, then why must we do placement of dumbbell metal plates in 5 yellow sector to suppress the negative energy there each year? I'm confused Dato. Please explain.

@@RayMak I don't think my question is answered. DATO said that the 5 elements is not actually about the actual elements, but rather it's about the positions of the planets. So why do we need to place the actual elements eg. Metal or Fire or Water to create certain energies inside the house? Why place metal plates or dumbells in the no. 5 yellow or no. 2 illness earth sectors ?

I can tell you, if you really have a friend with a difficult situation, it makes a difference which master you consult. yeap. no one's actually answering your question. i think dato is downplaying the physical aspect of the elements to the point where it became negligible. i think he's trying to highlight that physical aspects are not the entire thing but is still part of it. simply put it, flames do not entirely represent the fire element. it's only a physical representation of the fire element. but fire elements also consisted of spirituality, temples, sales, religion, and etc. those things obviously are not physical flames, but facets of the fire elements. if the physical aspect of elements have such infinitesmal effect, then the entire fengshui is bullshit.

I am confused here.🤔 If there's no meaning to refer ' actual physical presence' of the said five elements , then what is the point doing the activities like ' fire activation' or 'water activation' or placing metal plate etc. and they really work. Further , said five elements are the core elements planet earth is naturally made of.

​@@joeyyap but does that mean the actual object and the element it represent has no effect ? otherwise to activate fire energy, we choose all the right dates and direction but put an aquarium or blue carpet instead. then how ?? since the main triggering factors are direction, date, time while the object itself had zero impact, we might as well put whatever. otherwise, dato contradicted himself in saying that the physical objects representing the element had no bearing whatsoever.
