Hi, Diana! I love your videos! They are always very helpful. I have a question. What is exactly is the 2.75 that you subtracted from the knee to ankle measurement? Why 2.75? Where does that number come from? What does it represent? TIA

Watching you figure out and make adjustments is SO helpful. I am 5’2” and always have to adjust for height. AND your bright personality shines through in all your videos.

Great video. Question, should the side measurements run along the seam line?

Did you make your tshirt? I like the cut and am wondering if it is a EAM pattern.

With all these measurements - do you have to account for crotch seam allowance and hem allowance?

I'm a bit confused. What about the size of the thighs? I know one chooses the size according to the waist and hips and you are fitting only the length here but I always find patterns are too skimpy on the thigh for me! I'm never sure how to adjust for this.
@EllieandMacPatternsLLC3 жыл бұрын
Yes, there is also a chart in the pattern to measure yourself and when you do, you can grade between sizes to achieve your perfect fit ❤️ we do have a video on grading that might be super helpful!

Diana, I don’t understand how your coming up with your upper and lower inseam deduction or increase how are you coming up with these measurements please do I will understand? Thank you so much. Tammy
@EllieandMacPatternsLLC3 жыл бұрын
Hi Tammy. We have a worksheet that has formulas for the leg sections so you can get it just right. The information on the sheet in the jogger pattern shows you exactly what to do and has spots for you to enter your measurements. I hope this helps.

I'm very short waisted. Even low rise pants go over by belly button. How would I figure out how much to remove at the first adjustment line? I'm guessing that 3/4 isn't going to be enough for me. Other than that, you and I measure the same size.

Why do you debuct 2.75 from the lower inseam?
@EllieandMacPatternsLLC3 жыл бұрын
Hi. This is because we are taking off the ankle cuff height (minus seam allowance).

How do these differ in fit from your Good Vibe Jogger Pattern? I see that the Straight Fit Joggers are described as being designed for a male body, but they look really cute on you.
@EllieandMacPatternsLLC3 жыл бұрын
These have a dropped crotch of about 2”, they are longer, but there is a height adjustment worksheet to help you adjust them to your specific body/leg length.
@TxHoneybee013 жыл бұрын
I didn’t understand why if you measured 14” from the crotch to knee bend, then you subtract 2”. Where does the -2” come from? Thanks.

I subtracted the length of the cuff that I will be adding ❤️

All the corrections in your math and writing when explaining the numbers was confusing. I wish you had just stopped the video and got a new piece of paper and did it correctly. It didn’t make sense. Normally, I love your videos but this one could’ve been better prepared. Sorry.
