This beats the single guitar we are subjected to at mass now.

I read somewhere that he said that the spiders that he ate tasted like strawberries. Very nice mass!

Fascinating reading about another crazy Czech composer. I guess the eating of spiders caused the prolific musical creativity!!?? I have to admit the soprano is a way too exuberant ...As opera lover I could visualize being at a Mass with this "operatic" rendition, but tough for the padre saying the Mass! Awesome.. Your composer and musical collection must be absolutely amazing! Thank you for uploading.

Perhaps, was he poisoned by eating too many spiders? Who knows... I really would love a modern performance of his "Missa Solemnis". This recording is 'circa' 1960. Regarding my collection, I should admit I have music by more than 2500-3000 composers. Mainly from 17, 18 and 19 centuries. Greetings and careful with coronavirus!

@@Reciclassicat Woww.. must be a pure heaven or hell to be munching at this quantity of composers .. I'd love it for sure... And you are not even a part of any conservatory or a musical faculty. Its unbelievable to have someone like you. Hope you have a decent database app to track it all. I actually record in my private database each of your pieces as I hear them... which I gather is going to take some time. Thank you rostomic@gmail.com.
