Johannesburg and KZN Philharmonic Orchestra’s send a special tribute to South Africa

We've come together to give you and your family a virtual performance in the comfort of your own homes.
Individual members of the Johannesburg and KwaZulu-Natal Philharmonic Orchestras have joined forces in putting together a virtual performance of the well-loved hymn, ‘Amazing Grace’. The video has been made by the musicians, each recording their own performance from the comfort of their own homes. Our hope is to bring comfort and joy to thousands of South Africans who are enduring loneliness, isolation and anxiety during the country’s national lockdown due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.

Whoa, artists, you have painted a masterpiece in my heart with your beautiful rendition of the darling hymn for many of us Christians. We were unable to commemorate Good Friday with our brethren this year, but your music allowed my mind the meditation of its significance with tears in the awe that your performance inspired.
