I was just complaining about a pastor this week, butchering the same verse. But I wasn’t fluent in explanation. Now I have real live ammo and understanding of the true meaning to articulate. It is imperative leaders and preachers would vigil presumptuous council that is sinful, and just take out a Strong’s Greek Hebrew concordance at the side, when preaching the word of Truth. I probably look at this verse a little differently. God so 'loved' the world (back when there was no sin in the world, that He took necessary steps to bring the world back to this point). Love the clarification on 'so'. Thank you.

@@mynameis......23 Amen, agree fully, and could certainly go further. Revelation 1, Jesus is the alpha and omega. John 1, Jesus made the entire world, whereas Genesis 1 & 2 says God made and created the whole world, whereas Isaiah (from memory) says the LORD created the whole world. Not to mention John 1:1-2 which is so obvious on its own. I think a point of confusion played upon by the cults, is that Jesus was the only begotten son of God. Compare this with Adam's creation and the creation of angels, Jesus was the only one physically implanted into an ovum as a sperm of the Holy Spirit, to become a physical person that way, while still God thru the entire process.

Jesus is coming! Amen. God is merciful. He always forgives. Never be ashamed to take your failures to him. He is for you, not against you! God is with you in the storm. He knows your troubles, he hears you! He is for you, on your side, always! It may feel silent at times, but he’s holding you close! May the Lord return soon! We are drawing closer. He is coming! What many believers need to come and realize is the purpose to why Jesus laid down His life for us. He did not lay down His life to represent His righteousness for us, even while many continue to sin, but to present us holy, which means there is a labor (work/effort) that we need to do after we confess and repent of our sins, that is, to walk after and keep the Ten Commandments, which many have forsaken by assuming His blood represents us holy, even while they continue to sin. I'd like for u to translate in the same way the vrs, "I wish none shld perish"! Christians pray for "ALL LOST" when I don't find that biblical, according to other verses such as "I do not pray for the world..", and "no one comes to the father unless He draws them", or "..many shall perish/few are chosen", etc and the like. I feel the proper interpretation, instead of praying for ALL LOST, means simply as He says, "I WISH" [BUT IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN, BUT I WISH IT WERE SO!]! “For God so loved the world....” KJV - God “Loved”. Isn’t it read past tense? I’ve seen the full verse written differently from other bibles, but when it came to the word “Love”, it’s always read past tense...LOVED. I think, when read the way it’s written, it has a different meaning. I have always wondered about what that verse meant, because it’s written in past tense. He loved us once, but not anymore?? I like to think there’s a deeper meaning.

I believe loved is used to point always to God giving us his son and the crucifixion. Loved is used in some of the epistles when talking about God's love for us and it seems to always be pointing to Jesus dying for us.

Here is my question: Are the tribulation saints filled with the Holy Spirit as born-again believers are now and are they considered part of the bride of Christ? We know the wedding "feast" is at the end of Daniel's 70th week and so "maybe" tribulation saints are included as part of the bride. We don't know when in the 70th week the actually wedding itself occurs. Is it at the beginning, middle or end and then the wedding feast? Also, what about Old Testament saints? Are they part of the bride of Christ, also? It appears God's whole 7000 year plan for mankind is 8 words - God's wants a Wife from the human race, and that is what He gets. Are Old Testament saints part of that Wife? Also, do you think there is "any" distinction between Wife in eternity and possibly any other non-Wife saint, if there are any, in eternity? This has puzzled me for years. Thx for all you do. Your recent video showing Jesus' resurrection was on April 8th is super interesting because of the April 8th solar eclipse next week. The Hebrew word and idea of Love is ahava and also we know that God is Love and God is TRUTH so that is wrapped up in it too. Ahava means to give so love is giving gifts, service, etc...and why God is a good Father who gives good gifts. So to me when it says God So loved the world he gave His most precious thing/ part that means God so Loved the World that He loved the World or God so gave to the World that the gave His all to the World, if love and give are interchangeable concepts, if that makes sense. Many people solely base their Salvation on what Jesus said in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life." But Jesus was not finished speaking yet. Later after He rose from the dead and just before He ascended into heaven He said in Mark 16:16,"He that believes and is BAPTIZED shall be Saved, but he that believes not shall be damned." At about that same time He said in Matthew 28:19,"Go therefore and teach all nations, BAPTIZING them in the name (SINGULAR name and not names) OF the Father, and OF the Son, and OF the Holy Ghost." Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are titles and not names. Jesus disciples never used those words when they baptized anyone in water, nor did they use those words in one sentence regarding any other topic. Every time Jesus disciples baptized anyone in water they invoked Jesus name at baptism which is Acts 2:38, Acts 8:14-18, Acts 8:38, Acts 9:18, Acts 10:44-48, Acts 16:15, Acts 16:33, Acts 18:7, Acts 18:8, Acts 19:3-5, and Acts 22:16 (Paul's baptism). This is why I dont like bible teachers or preachers going back into the the Hebrew and Greek for deeper meaning, they think they know Hebrew and Greek but in reality they dont understand it like the KJV translators did back in 1611, so 9 times out of 10 they use it to correct the KJV when no correction is needed. True what you say about the KJV translators, but then you should not as many ADD the symbolic metaphoric word Blood to the Gospel. Jesus never included blood in His Gospel, and neither should any man. The price for our salvation was NOT Paid for by the Blood of Jesus!
