That's right even Jason is good His father just had that groove. I CALL JOHNS PLAYING VERY PRIMITIVE PLAYING HARD AS CONCRETE . MEANING HEAVY HE WAS NOT A FLASHY PLAYER MORE LIGHT AND SHADE. BUT A FORCE. POWERFUL. BUT HIS BASS DRUM WORK. TRIPLETS WERE FANTASTIC AND FEEL. LISTEN TO HOW MANY MORE TIMES ON ZEP I HE HAD THAT JAZZ FEEL . TO IT. I PLAY THE DRUMS TO. A VERY BIG INFLUENCE IN MY LIFE MORE THAN PLAY ING LIKE HIM. STUFF IN MY TIME OF DYING . THE RAIN SONG AND BONGOS ON FRIENDS. FOR EXAMPLE. ROYAL ORLEANS OF PRESENCE ALBUM. HE DEFINITELY KNEW HIS FEELING OF LIGHT AND SHADE. PLAYING TO WITH HIS BARE HANDS. DEFINITELY A MASTER IN OWN. RIGHT. WHEN HE PASSED AWAY. ZEP WAS NO MORE. THAT UNION THAT PAGE . JONES . BONHAM THE MARRIAGE OF. THAT BAND WAS NO MORE. PAGE PLANT JONES. SADLY THEY KNEW THAT. PLANT TO LOVED BOHNAM VERY MUCH. BECAUSE THEY WE'RE TOGETHER EVEN BEFORE ZEP. THE BAND OF JOY. AND I THINK CRAWLING KING SNAKE. BUT JOHN JASONS FATHER WOULD BE PROUD OF HIM . BUT AS YOU SAID RUBY TUESDAY .ROLLING STONES. JASON'S DRUMMING HAS A STYLE OF HIS OWN CHEERS.

When Led Zeppelin played two concerts at Knebworth Stadium in England back in the summer of 1979, "Big" Bonzo (John) had "L'il" Bonzo (Jason) sit in for him during the soundcheck before the first show. He played "Trampled Underfoot" with the rest of the band, who were stunned by how hard then-thirteen-year-old Jason beat on ol' Dad's kit.

If you’ve ever wondered what John Bonham’s playing would have sounded like if he had played to a click track or if his performances had been quantized. Just listen to Jason Bonham play any Led Zeppelin song. And Jason displays his degree of drumming discipline in this tribute. Amazing!!!

both great drummers ( love them both ) but there are far far betters ones out there...get real these guys do, by todays standards basic rock stuff, there are guys that play harder, faster with feel with one hand. I think John was blessed to be part of such a great band. Each member contributed to the sound that was Led Zeppelin

can u tell this guy idolizes his dad, despite his alcoholism? Jason obviously has eaten, drunk, & breathed his father's life & skill. perhaps it's the only way he can keep him alive awhile longer.... great job from a grateful son.

jason Bonham is a great drummer ! he's on of the best out there. But when you listen to the old man and jason side by side there is a difference. when the old man played ,it sounded like thunder , when jason plays , he's a better rhythm drummer than his dad. But bonzo sounded like thunder and no one will ever come close to that !

I don't want to lose an ounce of respect for one of out generations Great Drummers...... Jason I *technically* a great drummer. Great to listen to, and feel.... BUT - there's a reason his Dad was called "Bonzo" ....... When the Great John Bonham went off on a solo - or just a musical tangent... it became an out-of-body experience!!!! You KNEW you were going on a trip,

U know I really feel very fortunate to have met Jason..at a super cross race in Florida...I had not yet learn to appreciate how good his dad was and I'm glad Jason kept his promise and still plays the drums...it's a joy to hear him...beat them...I commented how zepplin music I could turn the radio off walk a few miles and being singing the song in excactly the right place when I turn the radio back on two days later... because of that metronome percision drumming...which takes ur mind off one less thing and allows musicians to focus on their part more...raising all up
