In fact it would just about be tolerable if it stayed with the athletes themselves, but the fact it creates division between the fans, leaves a huge ugly scar that has difficulty healing up afterwards. John and Devon are friends but that trash talk from Devon before, and disrespect during the KOTT2 was making me want to puke. I'm glad John is back. I love his attitude towards his opponent. Perhaps he can help veer the sport away from the trash talk avenue Devon (who I otherwise like) is spearheading.

I doubt anyone will be using that as an excuse if he loses.

I remember as a teen in 2006 when I watched the Pull At the Plaza 3 Tournament in Vegas - watching John pull and beat Farid Usmanov. It was an amazing sight to see in person and an unforgettable experience! Such an incredible and rare time in this sport to watch John come back now at 57, with a second wind and be able to convincingly defeat one of the best in the sport right now!! I can't even with this guy!? 😲 🐐 Now, I've played Hockey and Baseball throughout my entire life, nearly 50 yrs, and even with keeping myself in relevantly decent shape, when I hit my mid to late -30's... I began noticing that my BODY... was no longer responding to what MIND was asking of it. A little slower, a little weaker, even a little less coordinated.... but all n' all, not too bad and still good enough for the Sports I love. Then ..... I hit my mid to late 40's 😒 and that's when I began to realize the Body RARELY responded to what my MIND asked it to do. Lol That's when I realized that .... "Damn it, I'm getting Old!!" 😭 My point is this, I know how the Body changes and weakens as you age, especially after your 40's and certainly into your 50's. So to see John Brzenk at nearly 58 yrs old, absolutely Dominate the world #1 in his weight class... is insane!! What a LEGEND. 👍👍

He is incredible. But he has had a little help through Testosterone Replacement Treatment, which you can get from your doctor. It normalises your T levels. I'm glad John has stayed away from steroids, but I am curious about how strong he'd still be without the TRT. I think he'd still be super impressive actually.
