What about Eddie Bravo, his made a lot of innovations to the art. Just the incorporation of the rubber guard is oit there, he submitted Royler Gracie with his assorted techniques and he has now various students in the UFC.

10P are a little too "culty" for my liking. I cant help thinking that they're mostly a bunch of weirdos. You see them at the tournaments in every city and they come across as thinking they're "punkrock" but their uniformity gives them away as sheep. They're mostly sore losers too. Theres a weird culture at 10P I reckon. Nothing personal...but its just an observation.

Rubber guard doesn’t seem to work at the highest black belt levels. JDs system had a 16 year old beat the best 10 guy. 10p definitely made no gi bigger though, so props for that

So true regarding the Bas "roll to a kneebar" line. I'll admit I did get tired of hearing it sometimes during his commentary, because I was part of the group think that didn't believe in it at the time.

Lex , you have so much to learn about the innovators. Bas is very well respected and honored for his contributions. If you really want to go deep , look into early catch wrestlers and the submissions they were using in the 40's also guys like Gene LeBell played major role in submissions and MMA
