I have been trying to make this point for ages now, I am so glad someone finally knows how to articulate this. I disagreed at some point, seeing the "elite" do not think of themselves as natural masters, they act like that but this is different. And I ultimately want what he wants, but I think I would disagree on how to get it. See, this "elitism" is more like opportunism, presented by this very equality.

I came to realise long ago, that there are two types of Christians. Even when jesus is a literal symbol of 'the Truth', as the burning double edge sword, that is the tongue which is the Word of God, here since the beginning of time. Even when Jesus says, follow my way and my life which is following and finding the truth. Even when Jesus says, worship God not me, while stressing that this is the greatest commandment that stands above all others. Many decide, he should be ignored on these matters and you should worhsip him and ignore truth if needs be.

It does sound like he's advocating professed, but not necessarily true, faith in Jesus. In any case, true Christians have always been in a conflict: "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places" (Ephesians 6:12). Does the speaker understand what he calls to mind historically, when he refers to "religious war"? Religious wars have historically ALWAYS involved killing, and most religious wars have involved citizens of the same country killing each other. In the case of the English Civil War, an estimated 200,000 died. He is using a loaded term (religious war) while not actually saying that he is advocating killing. He wants us to "convert our neighbors." And what if they won't convert?

What nonsense about the rights and freedoms being Christian? Do you mean to say that the dark ages in Europe were not Christian? Infact they were the dark ages precisely because they were Christian. The enlightenment movement in Europe was a fight and revolution against the church. Pagans were a lot more free compared to Christianity that came later. Were there no slaves when America became a country? Was America not Christian then? You are equating a societal and cultural problem (slavery) with religion (Paganism). This isnt an argument against Christianity. I would take Christianity over Wokeness anyday. But you must atleast have an argument without gaping holes in it if you want to attract younger people. Why would you also want to alienate pagans (ancient pagans from another part of the world) who did not have the same societal issues that Europe's pagans had by equating Wokism with Paganism
