You could do a muffler delete like everyone else and you wouldn’t hear all those rattles and knocks. Enjoyed the video!!

Just acquired my first mower a JD 1968 110 in a bit rougher shape but all there, the series your doing are fantastic and so helpful, luckily engine (k181) Just needed valves ground back to spec and lapped, looking forward to you sharing whatever you do to yours, hopefully all adjustments underneath, thank you for your time and expertise

I’m an early cub cadet guy and have gone through originals, second and third generation cubs. IMHO John Deere has nothing on a IH cadet with all the after thought brackets and goofy belt adjustments! They also appear to be hard to work on compared to the early cadets. Great vid your mechanical skills reflect a lifetime of experience as I started doing small engine work 55 years ago I’m 66.

Nice repair to get rid of the knock. Question I noticed some oil smoke, Do you suspect it may need new rings?

Hi, yes it probably does need rings. It might need bored also, I haven't had the head off to look at it. It's retired now so I probably won't fix that unless it starts smoking too bad to run at the tractor shows.
