These are incredible machines have a 1990 14sb with the 5hp Kawasaki very similar to yours a lawnmower made to last a lifetime the yellow wheels are that models signature good video

J.T., good to see a young man like yourself starting out with a solid fleet and also appreciating older mowers that still work fine. I had my own operation (small, on the side) back in my 20s and sometimes wonder if I should have expanded the business. Whereabouts are you located? Nope, this mower with the stainless steel handle bars was only offered in 1988-1990. They are amazing!

Nothing runs quite like em' Lawn boys run better though I am not willing to argue. I'm set in my ways, but i will admit that it is a very good machine

Found a full (with bag)John Deer 14SB at the curb. Doesn’t run, but I am working on it. I believe mine was produced in 1989.

Good to see a JD 14SB Still alive Thanks to you saving her from a scrap yard my ? is why do you have a gas shut off valves near the carb when the 14SB Already has it on the top near the gas and oil caps . Hey guys, sorry for the late response. But Tony, you were right about fuel flow. I just recently got this mower running again after sitting for a year and half and I put a new fuel line and filter on it, and got rid of the in line shut off. Now it runs great and has good flow. Thanks for the tip!
