A batwing mower is a mower with multiple sets of blades, they usually cut 15 foot wide, but to allow them to go down the road the wings on either side fold up using tractor hydraulics. The folding is why the are called a batwing

I think my doors are 8'. I cut the exhaust pipe a few inches below door clearance height and took the top section to the muffler shop and had them expand it to cover the tractor side then use a screw to hold the top on while working

Scott Schaeffer, it was full of wild parsnip. we're mowing during the flowering phase to suppress. this project is ongoing prairie restoration and I assure you that we will get it back to a self sustainable wildlife habitat. thanks for your interest... next time please ask before expressing distain.
