That came out really nice. A few crops and that field will be perfect! I love seeing the old stuff in the field. I hope you can find a grain drill like this one!! On Sausage’s tractor, if it binds and frees up if you back off a little and works again start looking at steering box. That’s the culprit I’ve found in my experience. Just passing it along to save you time. Madison did a great job on the video. You look good on that tractor.

Great to see the older machines at work again. I can’t believe how quickly that corn is growing in a dry year.👍

wow that was so neat seeing the seeder work. never seen the compactor for the soil! bit of a different look then just rollers . great seeing the tractors running and preforming so well. the original setting sheets are so neat to see, you have to preserve them some how. great video so nice seeing at the wheel of the tractors! take care and be safe!

Well these crows foot packers were actually made more for breaking chunky clay for seeding but they also work fine on our sandy soils.....thank you!

That FWA 2940 is wicked. That would be a heck of a good chore tractor. Needs some new shoes on the front though...

It's a great little tractor....we always ran worn tires on it because we used to mow alot of CRP ground and came across deer antlers and other things that liked to poke tires so we never put new tires on it we just kept finding used ones for it....now that we don't mow like that anymore Dad and I have been talking about putting 4 new Firestone all traction tires on ot like it originally had...we put some cheap tires on the rear and I never have really cared for them

716/23; Brandon, just saw yur video using sisters JD (sorry..xyz) 🚜 to prep 1. 2 acres for 'oat-hay' [remember, I am from New Orleans area; city/suburbs. grocery store for food...from your farm] so the numerous types of tractors (3 JD's this video project) is kinda 'in-a-blurr' of understanding... ah 3 P's: Prep then Plant/drill then Pack. End result is a beautiful bunch of 'Furrows'? next to big beautiful corn across a huge field. Very nice to see/hear your comments flow into understandable procedures to get ag crops up to maturity. But...where is your water wagon? Surely you don't just sit & wait for rain whenever nature rolls around to drip little...don't you get a big tank, outboard sprinklers & tractor/pull water wagon across New planting to make sure yur new seed-to-soil activity gets off to the best start? Kinda thought you would say something about all this...kindly give we 'city folks' a talk on all this...Much enjoy your channel, especially your equipment pulling, pushing helping neighbors stuck equip or accomplishing 'good stuff' on your property. Take care, stay safe & carry on!👍👏🍺😊

Brandon -- I have never heard of a "crows foot" compactor until this video. Are you sure you didn't mean "sheeps foot"? I have heard of sheeps foot compactors. They are used in construction.

Be happy to help you with tech stuff. I am an old IT guy. I'll look for your contact info. I love precision farming with all the satellites and laser beams. Not my field, but I know a thing or two. BTW, bury your old laptop or make a video punching holes in it with a mass projectile device. Depending on it's age and your attraction to it.... It isn't worth the risk. I could sterilize it, but it would easily be a couple hundreds of dollars of work to do properly.
