👍 I know you are excited about getting your new building built. I built mine about twenty years ago and I built it as big as I could afford at the time. They’re never big enough regardless of how big they are. They have a tendency to collect clutter and junk so once a year (usually in winter) I spend a few days throwing away stuff and de-cluttering the thing. It really helps to keep the place usable.

Can tell you’re not used to having a loader tractor, I would have used the loader and 1 sling to pick up and spin the auger around. Put sling close or one end, pick up, grab long end and spin. Good work though, love your videos

$105 for that JD bearing? Thats ridiculous! They ought to be ashamed I’m glad you found a cheaper replacement. I don’t know what your experience with concrete is but if I had one tip to offer it would be-Cut expansion/control joints-almost every concrete contractor I’ve worked with tries to talk me out of doing it because of the labor involved or they don’t know how to cut proper joints. They’ll tell you “all concrete will crack to a certain degree”. Well ya it will, hence the reason for the “control” joints, we give it a place to crack. No matter what they say -like “well with fiberglass added you won’t need joints” -insist on the control joints, empathetically, do your research on this and make sure your contractor understands what you want. Concrete will probably be your biggest expense and it’s not an easy “re-do” if it gets F’d up. Ask me how I know. Sorry for the rant. Good luck, can’t wait to see the new shop.

Just wondering are your Massey hard to start in the cold. I have a Massey 1130 and once it drops below 60 Fahrenheit you need a block heater or the glow plug was just wonder if that is normal with the bigger Massey. It’s odd for us as our ford will start at 5 Fahrenheit with only a couple seconds on the glow plug.😊

My 1105-1155 will start good without ether down to the mid 40s generally. I had a 255 years back that wouldn’t start without help if it was under 60, but that was a high hour tractor. Some are more picky than others.
