I don't know if you do it on purpose or not but you seem to have a lot of videos that are 11 minutes 11 seconds long and that number works for me. I also love that you post these informative and entertaining videos for us all to enjoy. As I scroll through my feed, all I see is negativity and nonsense, until I see a BTP video come up or one of the like. Thanks BTP, you do so much more than provide entertainment, you provide relief from the nonsense nastiness that is today's world. Bless you, your family and farm!

Rubber tracks really caught on 20 years ago. Challenger has been in the market 34 years, Case IH 24 and John Deere 24 years with the release of the 8000T series in 1997. Case IH showed a 9250 Quadtrac and 7140 Magnatrac at the 1992 Farm Progress Sho five years before the first Quadtrac hit the market.

@retiredwelder3 жыл бұрын
I really like those quad tracks. In your opinion what pulls implements better thru a slimy surface. Tracks or tires??
@bigtractorpower3 жыл бұрын
The tracks run fairly well in a wet situation. 4 tracks much better than two tracks in a slick condition. When two tracks runout of traction in a very wet spot they have trouble turning out of it. For tracks have the front and back tracks to turn and steer out. Tracks over all run faster than wheels in hood tillage conditions.
@retiredwelder3 жыл бұрын
bigtractorpower thank you.
@robertayers94243 жыл бұрын
The down side to the early two track machines was mud. They slow down one track for steering, so it's difficult to steer out of a mud hole. Lift the implement, let go of the steering wheel and hope you pull through.
@Paul-zl5lj3 жыл бұрын
What is the advantages and disadvantages of a single-tracked to the quad-tracked tractor?
@bigtractorpower3 жыл бұрын
The 4 track gives allot of traction. They can pull through mud and steer out of it. The two tracks get stuck in mud if you try to turn them out. They go straight or get stuck. I also have watched a two track and a 4 track in the same field with 60ft drills and 550 bu carts. The field had some decent hills and the two track would spin out on the climb where the 4 track cruised up. The two track is really good for roll over plows on tight turns on headlands. Both styles are awesome on tillage.
