Don't wear yourself out. I thought I was indestructible once in a while. Now I sit here and the pain in my joints gets worse every year.

At 25.34 the arm with the gold plate has an eccentric bushing with a bolt through it. Have to loosen the little bolt and then turn the eccentric bushing with the hex head to adjust for the creep. 955 is probably the best compact tractor JD had but a good example of putting 10 lb of crap in a 5 lb bag!

Hello from Australia. Good news that your knee is feeling better. Love your channel. I discovered it last year and have nearly managed to watch all your videos now. Keep it up and thanks for teaching me so much. I would love to see your part of the world sometime, it looks so interesting from snow to 40c,. We get the 40c but no snow in winter.

Persistence pays off, you’ve got True Grit, been in those situations many times and brings back memories , some not so good. Now retired and broken beyond repair, old and satisfied, just another job they said it couldn’t be done, lol.😅

The home shop looks to have great lighting. The white paint makes it a lot brighter. I painted a 40x80 shop and installed some led lights from Rural King, 10,000 lumens. Put in 15 of them, $20 a piece. Can’t work if you can’t see!

"Replacement parts", often time made years after the OEM may involve different jigs fixtures and the like should be identified in QA, but not always.

Watching you reminds of my friends Rick and Bill. Rick is 5' 7" 135 pounds, Bill is 5' 5" 120 pounds. Work hard do any thing and call it a days work. Good work on the John Deere good to see it up and running. Blake made a good call by suggesting to put the top bolt to help aline the two halves to help hold that side in one place while moving the other side. 👍Blake. So did you hyper extend your knee just a question.
@geesss86755 жыл бұрын
Did you detremine the root cause of the leak? Was it a direct result of faulty assembly when the tractor was assembled at the deere factory? That's a damn shame the owner has/had to incur such costs. As an fyi? What would it cost to have this leak fixed? What parts were involved and how many hours of labor? I have an older tractor that has a leak much like this. I am debating on weather to repair.

Do you have a particular brand or type of snap ring pliers you use? I'm always breaking the tips of mine off when I do ball joints on cars. They're just the stuff autozone or others parts stores sell.

that whole tractor is a greasy mess are you going to clean it up a bit. i know it is a farm tractor but it would be nice to return it clean.

Hi western truck one ? I have is y do you damp oll on the floor all the time if you keep the oll in a pan and put it in a 55g dream then you call a oll company to come out and pay you for your oll
@westerntruckandtractorrepa13535 жыл бұрын
You have to pay them to come and get it. Doesn't work that way here.
