Fixing some "farmer fixes" on my old John Deere disk!!

Time is definitely in short supply during the Spring- but the ratchet strap got me through 🤣🤣🤣 Thanks Nelson!!

Hang the chain from the rail around the axle, between the discs. No mud

That’s how I “temporarily” fix my disc scrapers.

Chris, I guess a day without repairs would be considered a very good day. I don't have many tractor attachments but have had my fair share of fix-it jobs. Seems like you did a good fix. Only time will tell. Thanks for the video and have a fine week. Enjoyed a full-watch. 👍🏽🤠 9/12/22

Lmao 🤣😂 JD never did like to put jacks on implements.. Scrapers can be a pain! Our OLD little disc has that style scrapers.. we carried boxes of scraper parts on the service truck for it. Nice repair on the adjuster👍

That's a nice heavy duty disk that will serve you well for years. Nice farmer fixes, did you find out what the model was?

If I remember correctly, it does have a model number on it but that still didn't come up at my local Deere dealer. It definitely is heavy, and works well. Thanks!

I had an old Kewanee desk 18 footer I spent $1000 in steel in bearings trying to make my own bearing holders took it to the field everything fell apart and blue to hell then I had to go buy another desk
