This is by far my most favorite in John Denver non-nature related song. Just the soul and the feeling that is in this is absolutely amazing. He was a talented and wonderful artist that was taken to far before his time. I’ve been a John Denver fan since I was a little boy and I continue to share his music with those around me. I'm not so sure that this is a "non-nature" related song. I think that a point that John Denver has been making in much of his music is that our modern culture HAS "fallen out of love" with NATURE itself including the genuine nature of our OWN selves... which then is reflected back to us in the world we live in.

Girlfriend just broke up with me, it happened all of a sudden, I focused too much on working and growing my business lately and took her for granted, kinda abused her emotionally, now her heart no longer flutters, I cried hard and feel extremely bad.
