There are a number of singer/songwriters I always felt were vastly underrated. Neil Diamond is one and so is John Denver. Beautiful songs and cerebral and beautiful lyrics. And a golden voice to give those songs to the world. Though I think he, as well as Neil, have gotten more accolades as time has gone by. This is one of my favorite John Denver songs. Wish so much he had stayed with us and had been able to give us more exceptional music.

even after all these years and from the first moment of johns first songs i cant get enough of him and his songs my reaction to them is the same now as it was then. I cry, i smile and his songs go totally to my soul and my heart to this day. I wish he totally knew what he gave all of us.

By far my favorite song , It is a song that reminds to anyone the first emotions and feelings . Was the first song I memorized from Denver , This song and Robin Beck ( first time 1988) are by far the love songs with the most sincere lyric of all times

I think it was never in a malicious way, mostly it was about sharing experiences. -- I like to play and sing Follow Me myself, especially the chorus. But I think if, in real life, someone told me to become a part of him so I can be with him wherever he goes I'd accuse him of being controlling.

@@DellaStreet123 Yeah, I don't know how I'd feel about it in real life. I think it depends on the temperament of the person. As long as he let me do some things by myself and visit with friends a couple of times a month, I don't think I'd mind very much. But then I'm a very introverted person. Maybe other people wouldn't be ok with it.
