...and again, it proves my preferred choice for Epiphone acoustic guitars above the Gibson models. The Epiphone models just resonate more and deeper. What a sound to drown in, lovely!

Arno Luyendijk, I have the same experience Arno, I owned a Gibson J-200 for a few weeks, but returned it to the fellowship of Acoustics within the 30 days period, and came back with the Martin D 35. Later on I got the chance to play this Epiphone j200 from a friend, and decided to buy one myself. The Gibson lacked the volume and projection despite the big body. Most people laugh at me, when I state the Epiphone is supreme to the Gibson. But an American who owns a Gibson J-200 from 1992,agreed with me, that the newer models are not what they were use to be, and said that my ears didnt have deceived me.

Very nice performance...you sell the instrument well...I own several of this model, each with a distinct personality and construction nuance. I used to buy all of my desired guitar models in multiples of at least 3 because I am OCD but now I do it because each guitar is as individual as the the tree from which the wood came, the integral parts of the respective guitar and the artistry of the luthier from whom it was assembled, notwithstanding the mass assembly line method of manufacturing. It is amazing to see the various levels of craftsmanship in similar models. You can actually see and hear that on one particular day, an assembly line worker must have felt positive about the day, himself/herself and his or her relationship to the instrument. The outcome is really an emotional statement that transcends the physical product and gives the music its individual sparkle. Also, a bad day for the luthier also resonates negative energy in the final product. The EJ200 Epi is my favorite instrument, versatile and a pleasure to play...add a floating pickup and you have a great jazz box...money is certainly not the issue here.

I am trying to make a decision between buy this Epiphone EJ200CE ($399) or Washburn WCG18CE Comfort Select Grand Auditorium ($299). I like Washburn because the Comfort design and I like the sound of the one you play with but not sure if it is too big for me or not. Do you have any suggestion? Khop Khun Kha !

And my final decision is the comfort series WCG66SCE because it suits my need most. All I need to do now is save more money and get my new guitar soon. Poetical I've had this guitar for a year now, and wouldn't change it for anything else, really nice to play and sounds very nice! The main difference between this guitar and the Gibson version is the price, the sound is just a personal preferance. Hope this helps (-;
