John is 74 and retired now, especially after major surgery for cancer in his mouth and jaw. He’s at home with wife, Gillian, resting and recovering. We all love this wonderfully loveable Aussie larrikin!

What a way to start my day here in Australia 🇦🇺 John can sing any genre and is the G.O.A.T. THE VOICE. He is a truly beautiful person with the most versatile techniques. He has perfect pitch and can switch his voice to suit whatever he is singing. Love our John ❤️ ♥️ 💕

Never tire of John's performances. We are so blessed to have so much saved video's of him over the years. He was just pure joy to watch and hear. Great reaction although you cut if off a little too soon. this was one of 2 encores and I love the way he thanks the audience etc...He loves his fans so much.

Thank you for your great reaction to our national treasure. John is amazing, especially on stage. I've been to dozens of his concerts throughout the 50+ years I've been following him, and I've never seen him put less than 110% into every song he sings in them. I'd love you to react to 'When The War Is Over' live from Whispering Jack concert. Also 'Touch Of Paradise' live from the Chain Reaction concert. The more reactions you do to John Farnham, the more Aussies will flock to your channel and subscribe to you and the more your channel will grow. We adore our Farnsey!!!! He is the GOAT!!!!

Great reaction. The further you travel down the Farnsey rabbit hole, you will realise that there is nothingnhe can't sing. He sure does know how to put on a show and interact with the crowd. Any song fro this concert is amazing.. Its a long waynto the Top, Pressure Down, Blow by Blow, Comic Converstions, Please Do t Ask Me, One, Touch of Paradise, Playing to Win, theres others i just cant think of them ATM. Then there's the Chain Reaction Concert, Expo 88 concert, which are also high quality and ple ty more concerts and tv appearancrs for you to discover. Try It's a Long Way to the Top next

He always put everything into his performance because he loves the audience and that is why we will tell you to always listen to John's live performances. The line "How long can we look at each othr down the barrel of gun" was written for nuclear disarmament. "Composed by British songwriters Chris Thompson, Andy Qunta and Maggie Ryder in response to an anti-nuclear demonstration in London's Hyde Park in 1985."(Wiki) But the line applies to USA lack of gun laws, the Middle East & Ukraine. You will love his cover of The Beatles HELP

I think more Aussie's know all the words to this than know all the words to the national anthem. Play it anywhere and you'll be able to identify all the Australians within the first three bars. We're looking around for the rest of our tribe so we can pubscream this together.

John Farnham is Australian music Royalty ❤ Another brilliant song to check out is a duet of John Farnham with the other half of Aussie Royalty Jimmy Barnes, a song called "when something is wrong with my baby" or John Farnham's "Burn for you" Both are absolutely brilliant 💜

I have to disagree. Jim Barnes voice and range is nothing compared to John Farnhams. Been to Jim's concert and in no way was it anywhere near as great at John's performances.

Back in 1980, when Australia had lots of regular live variety shows, Don Lane, an American who migrated to Australia to take over from departing Irish comedian host, Dave Allen, John Farnham was a regular on Don’s Show, appearing several times a year because even at 31, he was much loved by Aussies. Don knew Sammy Davis Jr and Sammy appeared on the show too a few times over the years. On this occasion, they were both with Don. Don and Sammy are both gone now. Not sure if you can review it, but at least watch it! kzbin.info/www/bejne/e5y2YoiJbrakrrssi=JJPyI_pjH60WlLzL
