I still recall Jane Kennedy doing her "backing vocals" live back when this aired. I miss the Panel. Thank you Working Dog for uploading.

The crew had no organisation, absolutely hilarious, and John being the true legend he is, never missed a beat. Bloody brilliant. That is why he is the GOAT.

The G.O.A.T and one of our G.O.A.T. guitarists. Not only that voice, but that guitar and how he kerps in perfect tune while the others arent and even laughs in tune. Love our John SO MUCH and Chet (Stu Fraser) RIP ❤❤❤. Needed this today - lost a very special Aunt overnight - thank you Working Dog ❤😂🎉

Thank you. But if I can be greedy, I'd want the entire Farnham segment 😜 Also you cut the end off where he told Jane... "you were beautiful" ..and she was btw.

Guitarist wasn't doing John any favours. When you've got just one accompanist the instrument needs to do melody - not stylised improv.
@AussieDebb17 сағат бұрын
@rosskelly8268 The guitarist , Stu Fraser, is one of the best guitarists there has been in Oz and was in Johns band from 1992 to 2016 when he was diagnosed with lung cancer and we lost him in 2019. He was also the lead guitarist in the 1992 stage production of Jesus Christ Superstar when John played Jesus. John is a Master musician and can arrange anything and improvise at any time. Stu would have done what John wanted because of the mutual respect John and his band have for each other. They are a family. John was the only singer who knew what he was doing, and everyone was just having fun - including the audience. I encourage everyone to just enjoy the fun 😉 🥰
