Live…. All Americans and elsewhere…know this is live…. No auto correct…. Greatest voice ever….incredible range…..all performances pretty much on cord. So easy to listen to and such a pleasure……and in instances spine chilling. Love this man always ❤

I emigrated from the UK to Oz in 1994 soon realised how special this man was & was lucky enough to see him perform in Scarborough WA, he was amazing. Remember watching this episode of the brilliant The Panel, a great piece of Aussie TV. 10 yrs ago relocated back to the UK was sorry to read about John's cancer diagnosis he is a fighter. Occasionally the British radio stations play his iconic You're the Voice it gives me goosebumps. Thanks for this 👍😊

Thanks so much for the good quality upload of this, love this segment! A little sad though that you cut the end off where John tells Jane that she was beautiful. It's a nice little moment, and so indicative of what kind of person John is. 🥰

When was this done? He is such a brilliant singer. The last time he was singing in concert, I had tickets to see him, but my ex who was an abusive man, wouldn’t let me go. I’ve never got over that. I’m now 42, and John Farnham has been my favourite singer all my life. Love him ❤️

Guitarist wasn't doing John any favours. When you've got just one accompanist the instrument needs to do melody - not stylised improv.
@AussieDebbАй бұрын
@rosskelly8268 The guitarist , Stu Fraser, is one of the best guitarists there has been in Oz and was in Johns band from 1992 to 2016 when he was diagnosed with lung cancer and we lost him in 2019. He was also the lead guitarist in the 1992 stage production of Jesus Christ Superstar when John played Jesus. John is a Master musician and can arrange anything and improvise at any time. Stu would have done what John wanted because of the mutual respect John and his band have for each other. They are a family. John was the only singer who knew what he was doing, and everyone was just having fun - including the audience. I encourage everyone to just enjoy the fun 😉 🥰

They played together for decades, they both knew exactly what they were doing, both individually and as a unit, and they all look like they're having a great time. I don't think anyone's upset that the guitar isn't doing the melody, lol, and John's perfectly capable of singing over improv or melody! RIP Stuart Fraser, a brilliant guitarist and by all accounts a lovely human being as well.
@comealongcomealong4480Ай бұрын
@@Saan42 John came across as the consummate professional performing here. Such a top, and well-rehearsed, version of Human Nature's 'Everytime You Cry'. I'm no musician - but it seemed that Stu Fraser was providing the rhythm and drive for John to sing on top of. They were so tight - it was lovely to enjoy John at the top of his game.
