Living in this fantasy leftoids call victimhood doesn't get the most important things done. Trump did a lot during his term unlike Kamala Biden and Obama put together but of course, the twisted media that you are paying attention to won't tell you (the media that throws their hate around and uses hyper-emotional tactics to influence their viewers yea that one, along with the View and Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel ). The Trump Administration saw significant economic growth before the COVID-19 pandemic, with 7 million new jobs created, middle-class family incomes rising nearly $6,000, and unemployment at a 50-year low of 3.5%. The job market experienced consistent growth with more job openings than hires for 40 months in a row, and a record number of Americans were employed at nearly 160 million. Income increases were reported in all metro areas across the U.S., offering greater opportunities for citizens of diverse backgrounds. The Trump Administration saw record-low unemployment rates for African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Asian Americans, Native Americans, veterans, and individuals with disabilities. Women's unemployment also reached its lowest in nearly 70 years. Nearly 7 million people were lifted off food stamps, while poverty rates for African and Hispanic Americans hit record lows. Income inequality declined for two years, with a significant increase in net worth for the bottom 50% of households. Low-income and blue-collar workers experienced a 16% wage increase, and African American homeownership rose. The administration also brought jobs and industries back to the USA. The Trump Administration created over 1.2 million manufacturing and construction jobs and established policies to return supply chains from overseas. Small business optimism hit a 35-year high in 2018, and record-breaking stock market gains occurred, with the DOW surpassing 20,000 in 2017 and 30,000 in 2020. Rural America benefited from investments and infrastructure improvements, including high-speed broadband through the Agriculture Department's ReConnect Program. The administration also promoted innovative agricultural biotechnology and achieved an economic comeback by avoiding widespread lockdowns. In October 2020, a Gallup survey found 56% of Americans felt better off than four years prior. The economy grew at a record 33.1% in the third quarter of 2020, adding over 12 million jobs since the end of lockdowns. Unemployment fell to 6.7% in December from a peak of 14.7% in April. Hispanic, Asian-American and Black-American unemployment rates also dropped significantly. Small business and homebuilder confidence reached record highs, and business confidence in the U.S. surpassed other G7 and EU countries. The administration supported the economy with tax relief and by stabilizing financial markets.

Is that problematic, even among moderate Democrats?

Not to me. My only question is why Netanyahu is taking so long to win this war. Israel won the 1967 and 1973 wars in days.
@natepinson2 ай бұрын
@je19662008 Because he's waiting for Trump to win the election. Neither Biden nor Harris would continue the military support or UN cover if Israel fully occupied then annexed the West Bank and Gaza. They still support the two state solution agreed on in 1995, the Oslo Accords. Trump let them annex Golan, expand settlements, and moved the Embassy to Jerusalem. They've been in contact, both by phone and when Bibi visited in July. Both either get/stay in power or face charges. And the people keeping Netanyahu in (far right party leaders Ben Gvir and Smotrich, who are also settlers and cabinet members) want annexation/ethnic cleansing, and have said as much.

No excuse for needing days to count votes. PERIOD!
@markpashia70672 ай бұрын
There is when the laws of a state require it. When mail in ballots cannot be processed until after the polls close on election day, that requires man hours to do so. When there are laws on how long the count is open for overseas ballots to be received as long as they are postmarked in time, it is always days for the final tally. Usually that small number is not decisive but in a race this close it could be. Every military members vote should be counted if cast is time but to throw them out because of transportation delays is unconscionable. We are use to decisive election where the major broadcast stations would call the election an hour after the polls closed. Those days have been over for a long time now. Even in those days the mail in ballots were counted for six or ten days after the elections it is just that the margins were not close enough to mention to the public, so people got the wrong ideas in their heads. If a state law says to count for ten days after any mail in ballot postmarked in time, that is the law. And it has been the law for most of my life!!!
@markpashia70672 ай бұрын
What state do you live in and what is the law in that state for mail in ballots? Especially for military ballots? When my son was in Okinawa in the USMC his vote was as valid as any! Maybe more so. If it arrived a few days after the election it should count since he voted in time on base and turned it over to the military to deliver it. i think our state is six days after polls close. You think that is wrong??? What is wrong with you?
@stephenkenney57082 ай бұрын
@@markpashia7067 Context. Your example represents a small percentage of mail in votes that very rarely makes any meaningful difference. With the recent proliferation of states adopting mail in voting as an option for the masses simple changes could and should be adopted. How about simply counting them as they arrive? Many states don’t. What’s the reasoning behind that other then to unnecessarily delay results? Florida manages to have a result the night of election. They chose to make meaningful changes after 2000. Are you telling me they have fewer people that fall into the various categories that opt for using mail in ballots. I think not.
@luminousdragon2 ай бұрын
Interesting when you say that, because trump was asking for imaginary votes to be counted many days after the 2020 election.
@RadCenter2 ай бұрын
Pennsylvania's GOP legislators passed a law prohibiting mail-in and absentee ballots from being counted until election day, and only after in-person ballots have been counted. We'd have our results a lot faster if the mail-in ballots could be counted as soon as they're received by the county. Thirty-four counties in PA offer voters the chance to "cure" their mail-in ballots if an election worker notices that the voter made an error on the ballot-such as writing the wrong year date. That requires time, and is not something that can be done on election night.
