I started a comedy nightclub in Scottsdale Arizona, called "Fun Seekers" in 1984. John Fox headlined often. He was the essence of a true comedy club performer. He took great pride in making sure every word in his act was concise and had impact. In my opinion top 10 all-time greatest comedy nightclub performers. Miss you John --- RIP -- jerry w.

I was introduced to John Fox at 8 yrs old. His demeanor on stage, with many others of the era, helped shape my well rounded sense of humor as an adult. I grew up telling my friends about him when VHS tape was “High-Tech”. Haha Thank You so much for sharing!!!

I remember the night this came on the TV (I think HBO)...Friday night...and my friends and I laughed so hard. We recorded it on a VHS tape...and I must have watched this skit 100 times..because I have the entire thing memorized, even the Archibaldbareassol joke.....(sad but true)....I just watched this with those same friends and it took us back over 30 years like it was yesterday. This is a very VERY funny set....RIP John.

I too have watched this so many times I know it all by heart. so funny I think one of his most underrated jokes was the betting on a horse named Boy George lmao all these years later I still have a few jokes that I tell of his to people I haven't told them to before. Like the I was a painter for five years joke. and the joke about buying a camouflage shirt and losing it in the closet

A wonderful guy. I middled many times for John on the road. We met in Milwaukee at The Comedy Cafe when I was a member of the Brady Street Comedy Group. He was so generous and fun on the road. And he was a mentor..he watched my act and was always encouraging me to hone my set ups. Loved this man.

This was one of the best comedy specials of all time. You had Barry Sobel, Dom Irrera, Bill Hicks, and of course Dice. This is by far the most memorable comedy shows I’ve ever seen. The only other one that came close to this level of funny was Billy Connolly, and of course some of Carlin’s stuff.
