The great thing about music is that 20 minutes ago I'd never heard of John Fullbright, and now I'm hooked.

Oklahoma is chocked full of exceptional artists. John is a favorite of mine. May I also suggest Seth Lee Jones, Paul Benjamin, Jacob Tovar, Jared Tyler, Jesse Aycock, Dustin Pittsley just to name a few….

As far as I'm concerned he should win a Grammy just for this performance! One of my favorites I've ever heard anywhere. There is another video of him performing this song with a variation on the beat and it's equally badass. John Fullblues!! You da man brother! ;)

Great work, impressive and insprational. First heard him yesterday on Praire Home Companion. Knocked me out. Major talent with his head on straight, it seems. Funny, smart, observant and sensitive. I'd wish him good luck but he doesn't need it. I've been listening pretty hard for 55 years. This guy has the goods. I'm going to spread the gospel about him.

Doghouse Riley sent me here a couple days ago. Since then, I've watched each of his videos multiple times and bought "From the Ground Up". It has been nonstop John Fullbright around here for 2 days and I haven't heard a single complaint from the wife or kids.

been listening to his fantastic new album - which I heard about on Fresh Air while driving through Oklahoma. Wow! It's almost all I been listening to since (well unless the mood is wrong) because this is a strong album. Extremely confident writing and playing. Unbelievable he is so young. Only downside is there is no back catalog to dive into.

Or they could just watch some other video that they do like. Not everyone likes the same things, and that's ok. If you're going to get cranky at everyone who doesn't like the things you do, you're not going to have much time for anything else.

Really don't see what the big deal is about this guy. A friend asked me to go check him out. I guess the local music is so bad that this guy stands out! Ha! He is a decent acoustic guitar player and vocalist. I will give him that. It sure sounds like he is trying to sound like someone else. Like some Mississippi blues guy. Who knows.
