This voice has been with me since the 90's. It does sooooo much for me to hear.

Oh, that voice. Reminds me of an angst-ridden twenty-something living in a Brooklyn flat- listening to the I Know album with the red Converse. Got me through some dark days. xo

Words & time. The two things you can't get back. Tell JESUS you love HIM today while you're still above this ol' ground . You've grown old gracefully, John. Thx for the themes, Bro.

I met John's music thanks to "A Winter's Solstice II". It was a defective casette, because the inner tape was "A Winter's Solstice III" indeed, and I grew up listening to "Christmas Bells" thinking it was "Sung To Sleep" by Michael Manring. Despite the mistake i had, I think your "Christmas Bells" is the very best rendition of this classic, and one of my favourite christmas songs ever.

I think that song was my introduction to John's music, too. It played here at the house Friday and I'll run through the WS collection again today. I think I have all of his music in my collection now. I picked up a few CDs in November. What a great artist.

In case you've ever wondered John....picking up that acoustic guitar for the very first time was "bright" move.
