Oh, John I never saw this. This was during your Windham Hill days. I've been a fan since the release of Temporary Road and have seen you many, many times. I especially cherish the times you played in the theater at Appel Farm. I can still remember you and Michael Manring on stage at World Café Live in Philly. I remember you playing there at least twice. I hope your surgery went well. I'm 74 and I know it ain't easy gettin' old. Love you; Thank you.

In 1993, John Gorka appeared on Austin City Limits, which aired as the 11th episode of Season 18, pairing with Steve Forbert. Gorka's performance was taped on November 3, 1992 and first aired on PBS on April 3, 1993, performing six songs on the Austin City Limits stage.👍

I became a fan of John when he performed on A Prarie Home Companion. When I learned he occasionally was at the Ark in Ann Arbor, I made a point to be there. He has been one of my favorites since the early 90's.

Thank you for posting this. Brings back memories. I enjoyed the original airing of this performance with my friends ("late last century"). We had gathered for an evening of jamming but called a timeout to watch this show.
