Every time I listen this man, I shake my head in wonder. What an incredible talent!! And he's so funny! Why don't more people realize this? Why is he so under-recognized?

Bottom line is this is great real music with real character. Found this starting playing and singing it 10 mins later. Made my day finding this, we need more of these musicians. Cheers everyone.

The bottom line here is that there's nobody better than John Gorka for leading us into the deep, dark and down of the Pit of Despair - pure Shiatzu for what ails us.

1991... ironically at The Bottom Line in NYC... I saw John Gorka for the first time and henceforth dreamed of marrying him in a field of wildflowers.

Saw Red Horse (naturally with him) when they were in the Burgh, and that was a really great show. Sure, nobody at high school the next day knew or cared who they were, but that was really fun and great to see.

VERY dang good...hey, you can get his records here in the Deep South (Africa, brothers, Africa...), and he still has what he showed back in 1990, when we saw him live. Beard is grey but that's all...!

If I would see John again I would chide him a tad for being less than complimentary about what I feel is his best release. "Land" doesn't have a bad or uninteresting song on it. And I wouldn't call "Prom Night In Pigtown" a sad song either. It's a record that never grows old!
