Yes, but the efficiency number for a commercial flights is much higher with however many passengers, vs a private jet with one ot two passengers. Eliminating jet airplanes isn't a feasible option. They can't be replaced with trains currently, and we are atleast a decade away from that. That's just work, not to mention the money.... (Same point as gym shoe....)

Many parts of the country don’t have mass transit. Here in Florida, north central, it’s a sprawl county…no way to establish mass transit.
