Every time I watch this video or listen to the song it makes me realize that love is so powerful that nothing can stop it and how cruel the world can be and try and get in the way of that. This song gives me hope that people can realize that petty things don’t matter, what matters is the people you love and making the most of the life you have, cause you can’t go back. I wish the world wasn’t as cruel, but this shows you that there is hope and good people in the world. Not every song has to be super meaningful but I wish there was 1 or 2 more songs like this.

one thing I learned is to always look at things from different angles, people will assume that this is a love story between a Muslim girl and a non Muslim man, And then they start to fight about what is sin and right and wrong, the think is I look at it as it represents the longing to peace despite the war, I see the muslim girl representing people whose voice cannot be heard or just misjudged, I look at the young man as a rebel who wants live and peace, I think this video made me think that this more than just interracial love story, and more of rebellion aginst hatred and towards love in every way, we can replace those two in any sort of people you wish to see and it will still represent the same idea. I don't know if anyone understood the last scene where they're all hugging and starring at the fence.. its supposed to represent the "wall" trump wants to build on mexicans...and the last scene is muslim family and mexican family (minorities) come together and basically stand up against the idea of the wall (fence)... it's a beautiful metaphor.
