UGH!! Every time I talk about John Lennon I get all teary-eyed which for me never happens. i feel like hes always been such a big part of my life. Every dark moment of my life was spent listening to the Beatles and replaying and replaying the songs until i felt better. John Lennon is still and always will be alive in his beautiful spirit.

@drjonathonflash True. Bang on the target. I fail to see why people try to make so much out of nothing. Honestly, personally I always see The Beatles only as the worlds greatest Musicians. And that's all that's important to me. Personally it doesn't really matter to me even if all of them were devout Satanist. I love their music and all that they have done for music and recording industry in general. It's no wonder everyone who understands music, even a little bit, likes them!

@ridge87701 After his death and the deluge of biographies that came along, nothing more could be added that hadn't been said before (warts and all). So began the ugly books claiming he was a closet gay, a rich toff etc etc now bankrupt of reality based insults it seems conspiracy and other batshit crazy ideas are the only ones that sell. Lennon was just a regular Joe who had exceptional vocal and song writing talent and was not afraid to bare his soul in his music and in public.

I mean, Lennon was probably just a curious guy who liked to know everything and was interested in various things at various stages in his life, but no one sane can really call him a Satanist! The whole idea is ridiculous. I have read some other theories on the net and one is more outrageous than the other. I guess, after all, they have to sell books too. No one would buy a book if they write that Lennon was NOT a Satanist ;)
