Apart from being an avid fan of the Pistols and PiL. John proved himself as a decent and honest human being many, many years ago, not only through his lyrics, but particularly when, during an interview he gave us the heads up that Jimmy Saville was a disgusting piece of sh*t being protected by a certain broadcasting organisation. Saying that, at the tender age of eight whilst watching Top of the Pops and 'Jim'l Fix It', I too thought he was a "Wrong 'un" but clearly, didn't know why. John did and tried to call it out then. I am also sure I wasn't the only young lad at the time that shared this view. Good on ya JL, keep rocking and shaming those frauds and wanna bee's:-)

I'm a huge Neil Young fan, but I still got a kick out of Lydon's 'impersonation'. I always wondered what he thought 'The Story Of Johnny Rotten'.

Pistols - Had 'em on Tape & LP 40 years ago, still have 'em on CD & iPod. Never went without. Through all these years ~ Lydon's absolute truth keeps marching.

Love it. This is the story of Johnny Rotten, but I only talk to people I know. Classic.

¡Ha! ¡Ha! So true. Nice way to expose the hypocrisy. Neil Young is a great artist as I'm sure Johnny Rotten can agree, but the sarcastic imitation was priceless. ¡Ha! ¡Ha! ¡Ha! Hee.Hee.

I don't care if I get flamed, but Johnny seems like the kind of guy who lives off of cutting other people's legs off to make himself look taller, while using the facade of the uncompromising rebel.

I COMPLETELY AGREE WITH YOU.John Lydon is just an off brand Joey Ramone and a true pioneer of the poser punk. The core meaning of punk is being a free thinker not rebelling and being rude to others for the sake of being edgy. Johnny Rotton has some great moments and is soooo witty in interviews, but he is the reason 90% of people think punk is just being a degenerate, wearing leather and listening to sex pistols and black flag.
