One of the best messages I've ever heard. God Bless You John !

Halfway through this message-what a fantastic message. People tend to put the cart before the horse without realizing things truly begin with TRUSTING God and then God will bring out the transitional changes, NOT the other way around Amen. I pray for all who heard this message and those who would find this on this platform. Good intentions is like earning your way with God and that's not how it works. Relationship with God isn't the same as with humans and one cannot 'earn' their way with works-good intentions! Amen! These fruits you speak of those are the 'result of' trusting God-that's the way it's to be - not 'results of the intentions' and works! Amen. Good message! WOW!

Great message. I keep coming back to listen to this. One suggestion, try to even out the volume level. The speaker is an animated and energetic speaker. Sometime he can barely be heard. Other times he is hurting my ears. I believe there are of both hardware and software solutions to help normalize the sound volume. Might be something worth looking into for future videos.

I don't understand the Scottish accent that pops up when mentioning "Christ" and "righteousness" (ex. at mark 12:29) from a guy who is speaking about authenticity.

Scott H for context, in earlier versions of this famous sermon (~20 years ago), he would pause and note how often in movies and biblical documentaries, etc. the “scholar” discussing the biblical history would invariably be Scottish or English (Oxford, et al). He would note how the accent always seemed to add “weight” or “authority” to the scholar’s words, especially the rolling “Chrrrrist”. So Lynch would often take on the accent when speaking the name of Christ for the duration of the sermon. He’s probably given this sermon dozens of times over the last 20 years or so. For whatever reason (maybe time constraint, or maybe he simply forgot), he didn’t give the background for the accent when delivering the sermon here. Hope that helps!

I cannot hear the message for the theatrics. Are you saying Jesus loves me or I can sin and not feel guilt. Not clear, but I will be OK anyway. Thnx for the 2 roads thoughts- trusting is better than performing. God desires mercy

He isn't saying you can sin and not feel guilty. He's saying you can sin and God won't condemn you. God allows us to feel consequences, but he doesn't put them on us

Too bad Bill. The gospel comes to us in a number of forms. Sermons, music, art, creation and yes . theatrics. "Let he who has ears. . . "
