Sim vale a pena! Eu que postei este vídeo e ja nem sequer possuo este canal mais. Um tempo após eu me afastei completamente estive morto e ressurgi. De volta hoje e agora vendo John e Sarah cantando junto com Molly. Como gostava de ouvir os louvores da Morning Star. Entao hoje sou novamente a pessoa que precisava ouvir. Tenho que admitir que realmente Deus nao existia mais para mim. Mas ao mesmo tempo que Ele me resgatou sem auxilio humano algum ou igreja onde realmente quase cheguei a tirar minha propria vida, voltei como se eu estivera preso numa bolha e assustei pois a visao do juizo e justiça se abriu novamente porque assim eu pedi e quase nao tive estrutura para suportar, sem ainda frequentar igreja alguma. Comecei a ter uma vida de oracao novamente como nunca antes e pregava o evangelho para quem Deus me mostrava nas ruas. Ainda sem igreja… bem senti que eu deveria frequentar alguma… pra minha suspresa eu tomei um choque e ainda estou tomando. Louvores vazios, seguem formulas de sucesso… busca por volume e quantidade e nao conversao… pregacoes coach… eu sabia que o tempo ja era chegado (quem quiser entenda porque eu nao queria voltar para Ele mas eu sabia que o tempo era chegado). Agora sei que nao ha mais tanto tempo pra nos. É hora de restaurar e restaurar o templo. “Davi” esta voltando pra Jerusalem. E o Machado novamente ja esta posto. Ai de mim. Por que? Eu os amo meus irmaos! E o amor Dele é grande demais pra minha mente tao pequena. E sim escrevi de forma bem estranha aqui porque nem eu mesmo acreditei quando pesquisei para um amigo recem convertido a historia desta musica e vi que eu era o autor da postagem deste vídeo 12 anos atras pouco antes de desfalecer. E olhei nos olhos dele cheios de lagrimas. Lembro de minha irma me dizer que chorava ouvindo o fim desta cancao no original. Muito antes da versao BR. Entao mostrei este video tbm. Tbm lembro ouvir a versao BR e lembrar: wow, eu sabia que esta cancao chegaria aqui porque era uma profecia. Mas sera? Pensei. Nao mais me importava, marketing na minha cabeca. "It's not even a worship song" That's actually not quite true. Writing these lyrics about his love is already worship on it's own. And by singing it for believing in him and in his faithfulness you really worshiped God like only few people ever did. Taking God at his word IS worship, for God knows our hearts. Faith makes worship. Grace makes Faith. God is gracious. His promises won't fail. This song touches many people I know very deeply. And i believe that in the whole world God speaks enormously powerful to people through this great worship song. God bless you all, may his peace be with you!

I had never heard the story behind the song before, the story of Stephen. And the pain he must still feel of having lost his dearest best friend, a pain that can never leave. I grew up hearing and singing this song in church as a teenager, back in the early mid 2010s. We listened to the Youth’s band play it all the time back in youth group.
