@geeloueeze Basically what that means is he is just "Letting Go," of the relationship as opposed to "Giving up on it." Essentially it means he still has his feelings for her but it has to be over so he's 'letting go' or 'moving on' would be an appropriate way of comparing it. 'Giving up' alludes to the idea that He still has the same feelings as the 'Lettting go' option but giving up says to me that as much as he loves her he can't take the back & forth of taking breaks in the relatin
