Abhik Kashyap the color. maple will have that lighter color but the rosewood is darker

He actually approached PRS initially to get a guitar created for him for the Dead & Company tour as he was started to realise the Fender company just wasn't the same as how it used to be. I met Paul Reed Smith himself and he discussed John's switch to PRS.

The Silver Sky sounds strattier than most fenders out there, not a huge fan of the look of the PRS, but the pickups cannot be faulted
