One of the best (if not THE best) live recordings of this song. The tempo and soft drums are perfect. Lyrically this is beyond beautiful with universal truths inhabiting every line. The airport analogy of goodbyes and hellos is dead on. "I won't be the last to love her...You won't be the first to love me", just one example of lyrics I often say, "Damn, I wish I'd written that!" "You can find me baby, if you ever want again...I'll be around the bend" and "If you never stop when you wave goodbye, you just might find if you give it time... you'll wave hello again" What a brilliant example of his gift with words, and his guitar playing is in the metaphysical realm to say the least. His lyrical gifts and the master guitar playing are the definition of a symbiotic relationship. I would have gladly surrendered an appendage to have been at this showcase of Mayer's tunes. Well...maybe not a certain appendage, but you get the point. Ha Ha! Happy listening world!
