you know i grow up in the west end of glasgow and we had three indian famales living in the close. my parents wear old hippes. they always had indian music playing incense and funny cicarets. i never know how hip and cool they realy wear. i listen to this music now it reminds me of that time when i was a young boy 11 years old. my mum and dad wear killed in a car crash in woodlands road. my grandfather lookt after me. he was in india working on the rialroad in simba and duwali. the stores he told me will be with me for ever. i love this music i love john and milles davis got that record from lost chord. its like life is a sircle we come back to what was important hope they come to scotland love peace and good happinees stuff jf.

Robert, We'll never see the likes of McLaughlin again in this life.... how fortunate we are. I saw John twice with these two guys- the best concerts of my life- like watching aliens from Pluto, not too many people get to this level of pure musicianship and originality. Kind of a long intro till they actually start playing- when they do, it's outstanding and out of this world. John looks so happy-- man, wish I could achieve that in this lifetime...

Brings back memories of Shakthi. Shankar is very fortunate to collaborate with these legends. John Mclaughlin and Zakir Hussain have got better over the years. Khalsa Aid deserves this encouragement and impetus for their humanitarian work.

The three of you are great, legendary musicians, and here your performance is brilliant, but each one in his own right. But as a composition it doesn't hold well, meaning that it doesn't say anything much on its own, the three of you, performing together, should have a higher meaning, which is missing. I'm a trained musician, know the thaats and ragas, have learnt the Hindustani classical violin, played it on the spanish guitar, I sing and compose. But that doesn't give me any status to comment on you. As a good listener, I'm not good with this. When the likes of the three of you are there, it should be much bigger. All of you on your own, whatever you've played/sung, is the stuff only maestros are capable of. But.......

As a musician (amateur) and an avid listener of various genres, I get you. Just commented myself.

The idea of blending the different expertise of these three wonderful artists was excellent but the composition / melody, while it started of very nicely, it remained unidimensional. I waited earnestly to have different notes come in, criss-cross and weave it to make the totality unforgettable or at least beautiful / fairly attractive but unfortunately nothing of the sort happened. It seemed a promising endeavor that one started with but which remained undeveloped. Sadly a wasted opportunity - 5/10.
