I loled so hard at this, even if it did sting a bit. Being the quiet introverted guy that liked poems, reading, and theater, it was hell growing up. Every girl I knew thought I was gay, I didn't have a girlfriend for the first 25 years of my life because the few times I'd put myself out there, ALL of the women would say "You're gay, right? Or bi?" It sucks when you don't exactly fit traditional gender roles, society is just cold. What is the absolute worst though is you expect it from men but women are touted as the more empathetic gender yet they're just as bad as the men are! I didn't know that proper grooming habits, a daily skin regiment, and liking to cook meant I was not straight in the eyes of women 🤣.

I hate how “gender roles” are sometimes mixed in with sexuality. Gender to me is female and male, but hey if you want to be they, them whatever.
